About
On Sunday the 7th of March, 1936, a group of locals made their way up the long, muddy track to Galley House. As far as any of them knew, the house had stood empty for decades.
Inside, they discovered the bloody aftermath of something horrific.
The authorities were summoned, and the crime scene was eventually cleared away. But nobody ever figured out what happened that dreadful night. It seemed likely that no one ever would.
Now, many years later, you have access to a peculiar machine — one that lets you listen in on echoes of the past. Can you piece together the events behind The Incident at Galley House?

I really liked this game, the logic of figuring out new locations, character movements and the timeline was great fun.
For fans of the Obra Dinn, or the Roottrees; The Incident at Galley House is a must buy. It's a great mystery with a very neat story which comes together very satisfyingly. It hits the right amount of spooky yet grounded to keep you feeling just a little on edge as you piece together what really happened on that fateful night. Aside from the story (and it's a good one), TIAGH crams in full voice acting and a solid tool set to back up your explorations. I really appreciated the notepad and how easy it was to swap portraits and names as my deductions continued. There are enough leads between location, time codes, and people that brute forcing your way through might get you some leads but deductions will make you feel like you've really solved something if you piece something together from who was present vs. not present. I do feel like I have a minor gripe with one of the final victims that you're solving for in that I was asked to log victims in a particular fashion but it turns out the game subverted that expectation. I suspect they did this to prevent someone from accidentally tagging them earlier than they were meant to, but it was a bit of an annoyance to bumble around until I finally had to just use the built-in hint system. A minor gripe, but I'd been really trying to solve the game without the use of hints and finding out why I wasn't getting this last piece of data logged over subverted semantics was a little annoying :P But with that said; it's genuinely a super solid game. I really enjoyed the full story that they had here and I would love to see other stories set in the same universe with the same tools.

很喜欢,平时不知道玩什么游戏,玩这个很开心,可惜是一个变格,我觉得本格更合我胃口
好玩,爱玩
The puzzle mechanic is up there in originality with the likes of Obra Dinn. I do think better stories could be used with it though.
One of the best deduction games to date. Right up there with "Return of the Obra Dinn" and "The Case of the Golden Idol". Very satisfying to use the machine to find new scenes and trace clues. I don't think I ever had a situation where something felt (unintentionally) illogical. Highly recommend!
Fun and rewarding, putting the various scenes together and gradually seeing the big picture emerge was very satisfying, especially when thing aren't quite as they seem.
Listen to me. There may be a point where it seems kind of grind-y and like all you're doing is filling in missing pieces. I need you to look me in the text and power through. Absolutely stellar offering from the Roottree developers and I need them to get started on the next one.
