About
On Sunday the 7th of March, 1936, a group of locals made their way up the long, muddy track to Galley House. As far as any of them knew, the house had stood empty for decades.
Inside, they discovered the bloody aftermath of something horrific.
The authorities were summoned, and the crime scene was eventually cleared away. But nobody ever figured out what happened that dreadful night. It seemed likely that no one ever would.
Now, many years later, you have access to a peculiar machine — one that lets you listen in on echoes of the past. Can you piece together the events behind The Incident at Galley House?

Reviews
I loved this game! I played it with my boyfriend and we were able to solve the game without any hints which is a great feeling. The writing, voice acting, and puzzles are really stella. I highly recommend!
This is a great game ! I feel it is more polished than 'The Roottrees are dead' in the investigation genre. It's pretty clever in it's design and the gameplay is not tedious. Also the hints are not as aggressive also so it's great to use it if you need to and while you'll find yourself forcing sometimes there is always logical ways to progress. While everything snap neatly in the great timeline of the game, the satisfaction of everything making sense is glorious.

This game is incredible and such a novel idea. It scratches the same itch as Return of the Obra Dinn which is very high praise. Loved the story and was hooked immediately, although I have to say my one gripe is that the game is really difficult to return to after a break. If you set aside an afternoon it's a great game to attempt in one sitting while all the facts of the mystery are fresh in your head. Highly recommend regardless and I hope for more like this or The Roottrees are Dead
I liked this game overall, and enjoyed myself for most of the hours played, so I definitely recommend it. It is always fun to discover scenes and piece stories together. I found it got a little samey after a while and by the end I understood the "how" behind it but wasn't interested in executing the thinking to proceed with it all, so I just brute-forced with hints to finish the story. I'm not someone who gives up on hard puzzles, but that was the thing - this kind of didn't feel hard in the way that tickles my brain, it was more like if I pay attention to what's said it pretty much tells you most things in quite a straightforward way. That's not to say it isn't enjoyable at all, like I say I liked a lot of it! Just after a certain point the lack of variety and the "ok I just need to reread the scene and look for where Person A goes/where they say they'll be" got a bit tired. It wasn't as context-cluey or escalating in challenge as e.g. Obra Dinn, The Witness, or Outer Wilds, which are games where you really have to pay super close attention to a range of factors/think in new ways to come to conclusions or solve puzzles. I found the story solid but I think getting tired of the gameplay by the end made it less compelling for me personally. However, it was a cool concept and overall I appreciate that :)
The Roottrees are Dead
omg awesome game, highly recommend if you liked Obra Dinn
good investigation
