Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 2 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

I don't know how this game flew over my radar, but it definitively shouldn't have. I have been a fan of the Dangan Ronpa series for years, despite its highs and lows annd when I definnitively felt like the writing and devs lost the plot. From the quirky characters, silly writing, meta-commentary and devious plot structure, it always had something to call me back. Hundred Line definitively feels like the revised and finally deliberate story they've wanted to tell for years. Gone are the endless amnesia plots (for the most part), the interruptions of stakes in the plot to do something silly and dumb. The writers have foundn a way to tell the plot with the gravitas and tone it needs to have, and then allow an actual, full branching route system that gives you access to their ludicrous and stupid selves IF you seek it. The game has a very, very, very long common route before you get to make your plot-related decisions. Hundred Line feels strangely like a closer mix to Persona with its downtime activities, combat emphasis, and plot when the time deems it necessary. So far, I've found most of it to be interesting and fun, though by the 14~ish clear (some routes are very very short), I do wish resource collecting would be much faster so I could max everything else. I also wish there was an auto-skip for scenes, as MANY of them belonging to a route have barely ANYTHING different, especially downtimes where some characters are busy and can't be interacted with for long periods. Still, it has been a LONG time since I've been this hooked on a game's narrative and plot.

This game will truly go down as one of the greatest games ever made, the amount of time, effort, passion and sheer determination to develop this game is astounding. is it perfect? No but with 100 endings you are bound to get some endings that don't feel significant but i think that's the point, one choice could take you on a completely different story and some choices just kill you, it really give you a feeling that every single choice you make in this game has major consequences. The game is hilarious too, so much stuff you could quote off of this game, the characters are amazing, so fleshed out, every character has something to love about them and something to hate too. The Hundred Line: Last Defence Academy will go down as one of the greatest games ever made of all time
For the price per hour, this game is VERY very worth it. And I do still recommend it for a once in a lifetime experience too. But beware at what you will be getting into. I will list all the pros and cons to sum it up. Pros: - MASSIVE game. It will take at least 150 hours to 100% it. - Pretty fun combat - Story is good
personally for the main and SF arc
- Some interesting characters Cons: - MASSIVE game. I am getting lost very often (in timeline context) just because how big the game is - Even tho I stated the gameplay is kinda fun, it gets really tedious just because you will do it for so many many times
I really hate how the Serial Battles arc gets very tedious
- The story is very inconsistent for some of the branch. I kinda like some of them but hated some of the other
especially for the branch that did not add anything or even mentioned in the SF arc
- Some character is straight up annoying. I do get it for the setting but sometimes it just spoils my mood to sink more time in this game I need to mention too that the experience will vary just by where you go first. It will be very good or very confusing or straight up bad 8/10
first 20 hours are the prologue awesome very cool
A brilliant hot mess. You need to be willing to go through a lot of tedium to experience this game to even part of its scope.
