Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 9 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

D Tier Remake of an S Tier game honestly, I highly recommend modding it so that it keeps the original dude that says "THE HOUSE, OF THE DEAD", that mod can be found here https://www.nexusmods.com/thehouseofthedeadremake/mods/2?tab=description Still fun to play, def not worth the price that its asking for though

Gracias
I really wanted to like this remake, but it feels completely soulless. It barely resembles the original game and honestly comes across more like a fan project than an official remake. One of the biggest issues is the lack of impact. The gunfire sound effects have none of the weight or punch that made the original so satisfying. Shooting enemies feels flat, and there's very little feedback to make your actions feel meaningful. It never captures the intensity or atmosphere of the arcade classic. While the developers tried to add more atmosphere by including background music in sections that originally had none, it doesn't feel like it belongs in the game. Instead of enhancing the experience, it sounds like generic background music that could have come from almost any game, making the overall presentation feel even less authentic. Another problem is the visual clarity. The zombie models sometimes blend into the background, making them difficult to spot, which is especially frustrating in a fast-paced rail shooter where quick reactions are essential. To make matters worse, the game wouldn't even launch after installation. For some reason, it only starts if it's launched in windowed mode, which is an unacceptable first impression for a commercial release. If you have fond memories of the original, I'd honestly recommend keeping them. This remake fails to capture what made the classic special and ends up feeling like a hollow imitation rather than a worthy revival.
Not good . The lighting looks Dark,Grim , uncanny valley chartacter models n zombies and overall feels more like a unity project rather than a proper remake. Same with HOTD 2. Still worth it for co-op i guess
