THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake is a remake of the second entry in the well-known and popular rail-shooter series. Take on the lone role of a secret agent as James or Gary, or team up in co-op mode to neutralize the dangerous undead monsters standing in your way.
In February 2000, a small city was suddenly overrun by hostile creatures. Two AMS agents, James Taylor and Gary Stewart, were sent to investigate. Upon arrival, they noticed that the situation resembled the Curien Mansion incident from 1998. Determined to uncover the source of the infestation, they began shooting their way through hordes of creatures.

Remake ini bagusnya cuma buat nostalgia kalau kangen The House of The Dead dan ingin seru seruan main arcade. Belilah kalau lagi diskon gede soalnya kurang worth it kalau beli full price.
as much i love this franchise i specifically CAN'T recommend this remake they screwed up most of the bosses (and human characters at that) design like hierophant the music is too tuned down regardless of your sound settings which were one of the best part of the original it also seem WAY easier they could've upscaled the original and it would have turned much better you get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ voice acting still though
That was fun but build and sell me a proper light gun to play it with and my money is yours :)
THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake is fun enough for the 30 or so minutes it lasts, but at its $24.99 price point, it feels like absolute highway robbery. I bought it on sale for $14.99, and that is still way too much. The game is enjoyable; it’s simple, fast, and easy to jump into, and there are a decent number of settings to mess around with depending on how you want to play. But this is a very barebones remake at best. It’s essentially the original game with a fresh coat of paint, and not much more than that. In fact, it felt a bit buggier than the remake of HOD1. For what it is, I had fun with it. But there just isn’t enough content here to justify any asking price above a single dollar. At a deep discount, it’s a fun little arcade throwback. At full price, absolutely not worth it unless you have money to waste. (I'll put as little effort into my review as the developers did into this remake, so my review for both this and the remake of HOD1 will be near identical as they are pretty much the same experience).
YEAH
Dank diverser updates ist das Spiel mittlerweile ein würdiges Remake des Orginals. Beleuchtung, Ragdolls und overall House of the Dead feeling passen jetzt für mich. <<<<ich bin ein hardcore HOD Fan seit der Dreamcast Version und habe alle Teile inkl. Scarlett Dawn ( Arcade Version ) gespielt. Von daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung für Fans der Reihe.
Not worth the price at all for the lack of content and is worse then the original in every way in my opinion. Still not bad gameplay, weapon variety, story, and bosses.
Me encanta mucho este juego the house of Dead 2 remake siguen adelante
I don't know how much time has passed, but I remember when I was little and I struggled to beat THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2. When I saw that the remake of the first part came out, I was already waiting for the second one anyway. It's my childhood memory, I finished the remake in just 40 minutes, really fast on my first try. That just shows I still remember this game perfectly after so many years. Was it worth it? I'll say this much: if someone played the old version, they'll like this one too. Miauk.
THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //some difficult battles/boss battles //some overpowered enemies //sometimes enemies attack too fast //sometimes the game is too fast //sometimes shot registration is slow and the enemy still hits you //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $2.49 Or Less During Sale extra notes: //On-the-rails shooter fighting enemy horrors in an overrun city //You are an agent/detective investigating the roots of the evil //fire and reload your weapon quickly with accuracy to eliminate the new breed of evil //rescue and protect people along the way and communicate with your allies to open up new leads
