Game might be good if the creator wasn't a nonce.
there hasn't been many games if any that have captured the house of the dead feel and vibe so well. this game is the exception. it's perfect. I love just, playing through the game. it brings me back to playing hotd 4 with friends and family at arcades, especially since there is an smg that is pretty much the same as the 4th games. I wish I could've used that the whole time to fully immerse myself, but it has limited ammo. I genuinely had such a blast I cannot possibly recommend it enough
Another great rail-shooter game! I can see that this game took inspiration from The House of The Dead: Scarlet Dawn. Took me 20 minutes to finish the game, 57 minutes to check every nook and cranny within the game. It has online co-op (Didn't try cuz I have no friends that have this game) What I found cool about this game is that you can hook it up with a real lightgun (Fully supported with Sinden) which makes it feel like an actual rail-shooter arcade game. It's still in early access so there's a few stages you can play. Might play it again once it's fully released but for now I will wait and anticipate for what's to come. Definitely buy this game if you're a huge fan of rail-shooter arcade games such as myself.
i used to be a religious player of "House of the Dead" series, and this game feels like a spiritual successor to it, down to the how enemy appears and quippy one liner. if i can give a suggestion is that i wish non-limbs body shots were given more feedback, maybe like a blood red / hit decal on their body. BUT all in all would highly recommend
Played with a Blamcon light gun: 8/10 Polished game with a lot to offer. There's some nice boss fights and a variety of enemies and weapons. It's still in early access so you kinda get what you get.
An on-the-rails shooter akin to arcade games like House of the Dead or Let's Go Jungle that uses the low-poly graphics/assets that you've probably seen in a bunch of other games already. The game is good, but still in development, as such it took me a little over 30 mins to play through the current levels. Pros: +Good gameplay +Opportunities to save a survivor to earn a bonus life +Path/route choices +Still in development so more content being added (albeit slowly) Cons: -This game is early access, so really short -Time limit to stop bosses from hurting you is a little too tight in some areas Overall, I'm eager to see what gets added in the future.
A nice example of an on-rail shooter (think of on-rail shooters as an aim trainer with a variety of scenery). There's a good variety of targets within each level. Also, the environment within each level is varied. It's good fun with two players too. I enjoy it as something to play for a bit of variety (not to spend hours on consecutively). There's a free demo for those who want to try it first.
You're much better off buying this than EITHER of the HOTD remakes. This game rocks, and feels like a real love letter to the rail shooters of old.
If u always wanted to beat those house of the dead games at your local arcade this game gives u that opportunity, fun for 5$ if u can get it on sale.
