Gorgeous game, and very addictive at that! Haven't had such fun for a long time. Highly recommended!
one of my favorite games
Everything about this game feels nostalgic to me, like something I would have played on the family computer as a kid. The pixel art and writing are charming, and the innkeeping gameplay is fun and had me wanting to play just one more day to see what I'd unlock. The little touches of reactiveness to choices are the cherry on top of a charming, cozy experience. My only gripe is that NG+ isn't more involved, but that's just because I love strong NG+ experiences, but that doesn't detract from the overall experience at all. Highly recommend!
Very fun little game. Not a massive experience, but it does feel very full. There's always a goal that feels achievable, and making it to the end is very satisfying. :) Mechanically, it also has interesting decisions.
Really cute game. Very relaxing and cozy. You do have to think a bit though in order to be able to have what is needed for every guest, but very fun.
Great bite-size life sim that offers a surprisingly good chunk of gameplay for such a small, contained adventure. A great sequel to the previous game, you get the core management gameplay back with slight improvements, and a brand new gameplay where you get to choose the dining menu according to the guest's taste. Very simple, charming game with quite a bit of achievements.
Fantastic cozy game from SeaPhoenix once again! I enjoyed the prior game (The Lost Art of Innkeeping) so much and was excited when I saw this sequel page listed a while back. This game really nails a comfy vibe from the pleasant art, the cute characters and soothing music. I love the way the mechanics are handled from interacting with the various villagers and the incremental upgrades to the inn as you manage the various visiting guests. The different interactions and efficiencies to balance money vs comfort never felt overbearing and tuned just right to feel satisfying to play around with. From start to finish, Hidden Art tells an enjoyable and positive story that it's hard not to leave without a smile. Well worth the asking price and a boon to indie game scene. I look forward to future games from this developer! Do yourself a favor and play this game!
Super fun and wholesome <3 <3 <3
Great game, just as fun as the original, with even more replayability.
This series is seriously under-rated. Charming, with simple mechanics and yet a surprising amount of gameplay. The guests are so fun to meet, and sometimes very funny! The choices you make matter, changing things around the inn and the village. For a game that looks so simple on the surface, it is packed with a lot of little things to find and discover. Go buy the first game and then come back and buy this one!
