About

The Headlands is a cozy farming strategy about a small Ukrainian village caught between two eras: Soviet machinery and an independent countryside on the verge of the 2000s. Ahead of you lies a run-down farm waiting for a new beginning.

Start small: an old tractor, a neglected field and limited resources. Step by step, work the land, sow the grain, bring in the harvest and gradually build a farm that runs on your decisions.
At the heart of the game are your own pace and balance. You decide which fields to work first, when to invest in new machinery and how to make the most of your time, fuel and grain. Market prices live a life of their own — and sometimes the price of grain shifts exactly when it is already in the truck bed. There are no timers pushing you and no sudden punishments — only thoughtful planning and steady, tangible progress.

Every tractor here is the one you saw in the fields as a child: the same engine, the same rattle, the same peeling paint. Maybe you even remember the moustachioed neighbour who once let you climb into the cab while he checked something under the hood — and you sat there alone like a cosmonaut in a spacecraft, studying every lever and every button.
Every machine in the game has its own character and story. And you won't be left alone with them: there is always a mechanic and mentor nearby who will advise you, and in his spare time will put together a machine that has no name in any catalogue.

Help your neighbours through contracts, unlock new opportunities and turn a small holding into a living, well-run farm.
Start small. Give the land time. And you'll see everything begin to grow.
🌾 Meditative strategy gameplay. Planning without rush and the freedom to choose your own pace.
🚜 Gradual farm growth. From a single tractor to a full holding with a large fleet and expanded buildings.
📦 A living market and resource balance. Time, fuel and harvest are all connected, and prices won't wait until you are ready.
🔧 Machines with character. Dozens of vehicles with a history — from the mechanic's homemade "masterpieces" to heavy combines.
🏭 Your own production — set up supply chains and sell finished goods for more than raw materials.
🤝 Contracts and village life. Help your neighbours and develop the region together.

Гра просто шикарна! Атмосфера занурює вас в рідне село, де співають пташки, мукають корови та гавкають "злющі" сусідські пси). Для душевного відпочинку - ІДЕАЛЬНА!
Great Great game. The demo is not close to the real game - I realy enjoy it - great to play while in meetings/need to listen to stuff. No presure, easy, fun, looks good.

This is a dangerously quite addictive lil game that kinda came out of nowhere for me. It does start out a bit slow, but ramps up quickly enough you won't know what to spend your time on first jumping around between all the jobs you want to keep rolling on your farms, making money, making product, and completing the neighborhood contracts (Though some can be a bit vague with instructions like looking for a kite). It is a very pleasant looking game and haven't had any real bugs pop up in my time so far. It has a relaxing atmosphere and in my experience quickly drag you in and stealing hours of your time before you know it in comparison to first person farming games where the monotony continues on though require more involvement. I can't wait to see where the dev takes the game and have seen them fixing any issues they can fairly quickly as well! Give it a try if looking for a fun lil farming game to kill your time with ^^
Be warned this game is addictive great game really like the artwork performance was great very smooth experience. It also has massive potential on where this game could go next forestry fishing construction etc with a console release too this game will sell well
“What a great, relaxing game,” I thought as I finished the demo, which ended on a cliffhanger left by the developer. Imagine my surprise when, in the full game, I ran into a rather clumsily implemented obstacle: the need to farm up a full set of farm equipment by selling planks. And a few hours later, I was left waiting again for an update at yet another cliffhanger. The game itself is really great—it has simple but charming graphics, unpretentious yet cozy gameplay, and stunning, soothing music.
It's a really fun and relaxing game. It's awesome, and I hope they add more things in the future, such as animals and various vehicles.

So...In the demo you start with 18k a tractor, plow, cultivator, combine and header, a seeder, and truck. When I bought the game and went to play i start with 14k and just a plow. How am I supposed to get past the first contract when I do not have enough money to buy all of the items that I need? They have since patched the issue. I enjoyed the demo and the full release is great. Can't wait to see how the game develops.
Amazing cozy game, a real steal for $10. If you love management games or even farming simulator 25 but want something easier to play. This is a great game for you great variety in vehicles, equipment and fields to buy. Looking forward to spending more time playing and unlocking more.
