The Happy Hereafter

Krátká ale dobrá oddechovka

A cute and extremely casual city sim. It's nice if you just want to chill. It's impossible to lose because there are no time constraints, just some tasks to fulfill at your leisure. Your zombies don't even need food because they can apparently just subsist off of "fun" once you build a circus. For me, the menu elements usually covered some parts of the map, which was annoying because it made some areas inaccessible, but one time, without me changing the graphics settings, it didn't do that, so I'm not sure what's going on. It's an old game. The Happy Hereafter is very similar to The Promised Land, except that The Promised Land is much better designed in virtually all aspects, so I felt a bit disappointed with The Happy Hereafter. Also, the ending was so bad it made me laugh. Just an anti-climactic, roughly five-second cutscene of drawings, then "THE END" flashes on the screen and you're redirected to a popup asking if you want to restart the game. Oh well, it's cheap and it's a nice, chill game to relax for a few hours.

Potentiellement ce jeu serait parfait pour initier un jeune enfant aux jeux de gestion car il est facile, mignon et pas trop long. Sauf qu'il est en anglais uniquement, qu'il a beaucoup des bugs gênants (mission qui ne se valide pas, upgrade qui reste grisée, event qui ne se déclenche pas), que l'interface masque des zones sur le haut et le bas de la map et qu'il est mal équilibré, surtout sur la fin (on s'emmerde à attendre la production d'énormes quantités de bois).

Please fix it is not working. Love this game.

Честно говоря, я ожидал большего от этой игры. У меня две видеокарты – встроенная и дискретная, а игра вообще не хочет запускаться! Пришлось лезть в диспетчер устройств и вручную отключать одну из карт, чтобы хоть как-то запустить игру. Это отвратительно!

Fajna gierka, trochę za krótka. Nie za łatwa, nie za trudna, taka luźna. Brak automatyzmu przy wyczerpujących się surowcach. Pracownik wraca i na nowo trzeba przydzielać mu zadanie. Na początku nie ma z tym większego problemu, ale jak już jest więcej mieszkańców to robi się to męczące. Przy wybudowanej farmie, czy kopalni nie ma z tym problemu. Kłopot miałam przy zadaniu z syreną, ale trzeba było poczekać, aż więcej many się zbierze. Nie miałam żadnych problemów technicznych.
