incredibly fun little RPG. lovable characters and story. great music and dialogue. 10/10, would play again. please make more games, mr. enright.
This is a simple and unchallenging turn based rpg It doesn't do anything ground breaking but its good It excels in its simplicity and does what it sets out to do very well I just wanted a game that I could live in and not have to make any major decisions or build complex characters and it delivered There is a lot that could be improved upon sure but at the price point it does better than some games four times the price
A sweet adventure that doesn't necessarily burst at the seams with grandeur, but proves to win hearts in its own way. The artstyle, music and characters all compliment each other nicely, to envelop you in a cool world that feels personal and immediate. Gameplay can be a bit repetitive and the element weakness/strengths wasn't entirely clear to me but I enjoyed my time tremendously nonetheless.
It was a fun little game, short and sweet.
It's alright, solid 6.5/10. Meta/jokey writing, solid mechanics, cool environments. But something about the gameplay loop didn't grip me. The combat seemed a bit stale. Doing the same thing over and over, almost never needing to adjust strategy - most encounters seemed throwaway so I felt bored and could only play in small increments. Gear system seemed underutilized. Found myself never needing to use any of the elemental rings, or elemental defense rings, spamming healing makes most combat trivial.
8/10
i played this game like 2 years ago. it was brilliant. even though i got this game in a bundle, i would happily purchase this for friends. fantastic story, entertaining and challenging game. beautiful art style.
Good game, the story it's quite catchy and i would probably continue it if only the fight animation were a bit faster. Combat system and ecnounter are similar to any old JRPG like final fantasy , so it's quite intuitive. Pro notes: Graphics cool Sounds cool Visuals cool Story cool Con notes: You have to play on window mode (even if FS is here) since the game probably was released for iOS and c*appy HD resolution. There is no way to skip combat animation that would last quite a bit. You can't skip dialogue with space and only advance with enter. Overall i feel like i can recommend it.
Low budget RPG/Adventure hybrid however nonsensically addicting enough for one run.
