The Great Fusion

While not perfect, I found this game to capture the spirit of older point and click games quite well. I enjoyed the silly story which seems more and more plausible everytime a SOPA or PIPA bill rears an ugly head. Overall, I have to agree with many others that the game probably needed to be a bit longer, and needs a bit more work to subtly nudge the player in the right direction. Probably spending more time on world building during the writing stages would have given more ideas to extend the game a bit.

Point and Click style game, I wouldn't say this is one of the better ones but it's still good enough for a playthrough. I played this in offline mode till the end so my playtime on this title isn't correct. My Score - 6/10

Possiede una gradevole grafica fumettistica, musiche gradevoli, e l'ambientazione e la storia sono originali. Tocca aspetti fondamentali e tragici della società odierna, ma in modo molto ironico e non prentende di ricavarne lezioni altisonanti nè di esporre meditazioni gravi. Il linguaggio usato è disinibito e non avulso da espressioni "colorite". Manca la parte vocale dei personaggi. Alcuni enigmi sono sopra la media, ed alcuni appartengono al genere "2o giro", cioè fai prima qualcosa e poi vedrai che una stessa situazione da qualche altra parte avrà nuove possibilità. In generale consigliabile perchè è gradevole da giocare, visto anche il prezzo.

The great fusion is an adventure game set in a close future: in a worldwide economical crisis (that sounds familiar) all the countries decide to fuse together to try to save their economy, the result is a dystopian dictatorial society that the DMCA dreams about: in a stretch culture died because only the rich can buy something and pirating anything results in prison and death or lobotomy at best. Even science books are prohibited since they all have copyright. Cinema died from a fatal ricochet since there isn’t enough rich people to fill the movie theatres. Society died too and is divided in two: a city for the poor and another for the rich. Guess where you’ll play… Yup you’ll play a poor guy whose ♥♥♥♥♥♥ life is about to change. Let’s hope it’s not for worse… The game is very rough on the edges The graphics are nice but not really clear and it’s a bit hard to distinguish anything since they’re a bit blurry. The UI is very poor: I was stuck several times because I couldn’t see that there was an exit to another zone, the options are very bare and there’s no way to lower the music, you can only cut it off. The French translation was acceptable, even though there were several mistakes it was bearable. The game also cruelly lacks voiceovers. But it’s a tiny company that made the game, not an AA one, so they deserve some indulgence, IMO. The puzzles are classic and on the easy side. I personally liked the music but I can understand that it drove some people nut. Yes this game have a lot of problems but the story makes it even and I actually enjoyed the characters and the ending, it often made me think of Deponia. Humor, memes, celebs, clichés, alcohol, violence and cursing, what’s not to love? If you’re tired of happy games in Lalala land of rainbows, then this game is for you!

Game has a lot of social commentary in it, A LOT, this commentary is very ham-fisted and got annoying pretty fast. Aside from that this game is an ok point-and-click game and I would probably finish it I wasn't so annoyed by it's "message" and tired pop-culture references

Me resulto tan largo el juego por lo poco intuitivo que es, la historia es bastante normal y los controles son demasiado toscos. Lo bueno es que le hace referencia a algunos personajes de la vida real y la musica no se hace tan pesada, aun asi sinceramente no lo recomiendo, salvo que seas fan de los point and click o aventuras graficas.

[h1]Das Spiel[/h1] Kleines Spiel zu kleinen Geld. Auch wenn man sich zeit lässt ist man hier schnell durch. Ist für mich nur Kapitel 1. Und nun? Ja mehr ist nicht aber das ist hier nicht negativ zu bewerten. Die Geschichte ist echt Schräg und auch lustig. (Wer springt schon bei einem Banküberfall mit einem Goldfischglas auf dem Kopf durch die Scheibe.) Aber das Spiel ist auch Sozialkritisch den es geht auch darum das die Firmen Bosse keine Mitarbeiter brauchen. Auch Organhandel wird hier Thematisiert, genauso wie Diebstahl und ja halt der Banküberfall. Das Ende ist wieder echt unerwartet und Komisch. Ob da alle unsere Mama Merkel erkannt haben? Un point'n click sans prétention, pas très beau et au scénario pas très intéressant. Cela dit, pour ce faible prix, cela peut valoir le coup. Les cinématiques en forme de BD sont plutôt bien faites.

Good Point & Click game. It's not different than other games in this genre but still fun to play.

Я люблю квесты. С детства их обожаю. Это была основная причина для приобретения этой игры. Но она вызвала у меня немалое разочарование. Сюжет странный и оборванный. Юмор местами смешной, но в целом специфический. Арт-стиль в целом корявый, не особо оригинальный и совершенно незапоминающийся. Не знаю что ещё добавить. Игра короткая, но оставила довольно паршивое впечатление. К прохождению рекомендуется разве что ради достижений. Как квест игра не представляет особой ценности.
