The Graveyard is a very short computer game. You play an old lady who visits a graveyard. You walk around, sit on a bench and listen to a song. It's more like an explorable painting than an actual game. An experiment with poetry and storytelling but without words.

The hospital asked, "Should the body be cast?" Before I say goodbye, my star in the sky Such a funny thought to wrap you up in cloth Do you find it all right, my dragonfly? Sufjan Stevens – Fourth of July
Що з цим робити - виключно ваше рішення, я написав про демо і дуже його раджу, якщо концепт вас взагалі зацікавив. Для мене це гра-медитація, кілька хвилин мовчання і спогадів. Але так, по суті це симулятор цвинтаря.
what even. No. No, I did not enjoy this, no, absolutely not. That song that plays is in such poor taste and is SO out of place. Really bad, not fun to look at, not fun to hear, no.
paying for that in 2008 was a respectable gesture. paying for that today makes no sense. they were trying to do pretentious art while not having good technical skills, and that turned them into a joke eventually. and of course, times changed. everyone can make this kind of art today on itch the Graveyard was their best work.
Hm. Considering some of the games you can get for free these days, I can't say this one is worth anywhere close to $4.99. You walk up to the bench, sit there, a song plays, then you die. That's the game. If they patch it (16 years later) so that you can play as her ghost and zoom around the graveyard haunting other visitors, then I might recommend it. As for now, however... no poke. OH MY WORD SO INSPIRING LOVED THE PART WHERE SHE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DIES
There is a bug that doesn't allow you to move because of your malware defenses I read a guide to solve it that said "The people at Tales of Tales are artists. Not programmers"... do other formats of art then!! I don't want a game that forces me to enter and to manipulate the windows archives for playing properly.
You slowly walk to a bench, listen to a song, then die - just like the description says. Whole thing lasts about five minutes. They were going for something artsy and it didn't really deliver, not to mention charging $5 for this is insane. It should've been like a $1 or free.
I was expecting it to have some deeper artistic meaning. I mean, I like artsy games. I can get behind them. But this? Literally what it says in the description. Nothing more. Do not recommend even if viewing it as an art project.
Weird little game,... or maybe it's not. Maybe this is interactive music video or memento mori moment in digital form? Can't remember where I got this but wonder if someone paying 3.99€ get money's worth. Do I dislike it enought to give thumb down? No. Guess it serves exactly what it aims to be. At least it's honest in "About This Game" section.
Not all games are meant to be defeated. The song is top. Love this short experience. Not for everyone, of course.
