Not bad, not good, but not bad. The only things I can complain about is that this game could really use a "do nothing" option in many of the choices, that the story from 1981 is better presented than the story from 2021 and any scene with "Nicky" character was just gross to look at, like anytime this guy?/gal? was in the scene I just had to look away from my screen. 2021 and 1981 versions are basically the same thing but in different realities, the story is the same and it takes away from the player's enthusiasm which is a shame because actors really did a good job.

My favourite FMV game. The two lead actors are quite unrecognisable swapping roles as protagonist and antagonist in two timelines respectively. The choices available in each timeline lead into plenty of multiple endings, adding replay value. It's interesting to experience more or less the same story forty years apart, with differences in technology, politics, culture etc. The entire game is beautifully written, acted, directed, and produced throughout. It may even teach you new things about art history and leave you with a greater appreciation of the visual arts, especially painted portraiture. 10/10
It's a choices "don't" matter game. Your choices don't affect zilch. Main actor and actress have some charisma and some portraits displayed in the game are fine. But there is no depth in the story and characters. Two stories are almost the same btw, that's a shame. I was expecting at least different stories, maybe people from the first story got older in the second story. Respect for trying something new.
