About
The Front takes place in a post-apocalyptic sandbox world populated by mutants and hostile factions. On this war-torn land, players will engage tyrannical imperial forces, exiles, thugs, and rebels in an epic battle that will determine the fate of humanity. Team up with your friends, explore ruins and enemy areas, craft weapons and equipment, build bases and defend them with tower defense-style traps, upgrade tech, pilot tanks and helicopters, battle the elements, and contend with fearsome foes!
The Vehicle Assembly system is now live! From chassis and frame to engines, weapons, and armor modules — mix and match parts freely to craft your custom combat vehicle from the ground up.
Build a high-speed assault rig, a heavy firepower beast, or a bizarre machine fueled by pure imagination — it’s all in your hands. Assemble, modify, upgrade — you’re in full control. Performance, looks, and tactical style all come together to define your war machine.
And this is only the beginning. In the future, we’ll be adding mechanical claws, flying vehicles, and customization options like paint jobs and graffiti. Your war machine won’t just be powerful — it’ll be uniquely yours.
Construct bases using hundreds of different building components to protect your resources and shelter yourself from this merciless world. The only limit is your imagination!
Strategically route monsters through a brutal crucible of traps designed to slaughter explosive beasts, invisible assassins, flying soldiers, and other catastrophically powerful invaders.
Craft and pilot over 20 types of functional vehicles, including pickup trucks, logging trucks, mining trucks, self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, attack helicopters, and more. In the future, The Front will also feature modifiable base vehicles, allowing players to build mobile steel behemoths.
Use monitoring devices such as pressure plates and infrared sensors along with complete circuits to construct automated defense systems.
Arm yourself with a variety of melee weapons, firearms, explosives, and even tanks and helicopters, then use these tools of war to raid the bases of other players, or simply protect your own territory.
Use Jammers to subdue NPCs you come across in the world. In addition to helping you in combat, these NPCs will also put their talents to use at workbenches to help you improve the efficiency of your operation and produce resources more quickly.
Craft water-powered equipment, then use it to develop your own agricultural system including spraying and planting. Choose from dozens of recipes to cook delicious meals.
Trek across deserts, forests, snowlands, swamps, and more to find unexplored and treacherous areas such as underground research institutes and restricted military bases. Along your way, you will loot structures, collect blueprints, and claim airdrops, all in the name of making yourself a force to be reckoned with.

twas fun for a while, but like many other games just didnt have enough to stand out. I liked the building and tower defense aspects, but the hackers ruined it as ususal. IDK. I might revisit as a solo player but right now it's another example of a game that would be good if we weren't inundated with 1000 games a week.
第一次接触这款游戏就停不下来了,体验这款游戏一定要拉上几个小伙伴,不然自己一人累了个屁的!
I enjoy this game do far. My console friends would love to get their hands in this. We all go back to the good Ole ark days. I wish I played The Front when it first came out. The customization, gameplay, and direction of the game is really cool. I wish there were more players on there servers. If anyone needs a buddy let me know. I think cross-platform capabilities will really push this game charts to the stars. I haven't had this much fun since 2016 ark evolved
少见的重武器生存建造游戏,建议单人模式游玩,可以猛猛打僵尸,内容量也很大,还可以开飞机,可惜优化比较差,希望能继续打磨
Generic asset flip My buddy Pumpky Patch and I got a tank once and then the Chinese stole it from us in the night

naja was soll ich groß schreiben EU Server fast leer Server vermüllt...
TL;DR fun survival game with nice basebuilding and exploring, but the playerbase is very small. Worth getting on sale for PvE solo / buddies. If you enjoy 7D2D, Icarus, VEIN, Ark, Survive the Nights etc. then this game might scratch your survival itch. The Front is a cool survival building game but don't expect it to have regular updates (last small update is from Jan 26) as the servers are mostly empty or just a handful of players. I've only played solo PvE for 10 hours, building a base, upgrading it and my gear, which is by far the best part of the game. Exploring the map is interesting and PoI's can be found regularly. Later on you can get vehicles which will make traveling faster. There's a lot of inventory managment when building stuff. Chop wood, gather bushes and mine ore, take it to your forge, wait for it to melt, take it to your crafting station and craft the stuff you need. Leveling up gives you access to new upgrades. You also need to take care of hunger, thirst and warmth. There are blueprints for different tier items that let's you for example build stronger walls or better stat weapons. For all I know you can get these by "defending a beacon" which basically means you get waves of enemies attacking the beacon you must defend. There's also some sort of cosmetic crate you get from playing the game that'll give you a weapon skin every few hours. I got 2 during my playtime. If you have buddies to play with then I think it's worth the 10€ on sale. If you play solo PvE and like building, gathering resources and exploring it's worth getting on sale. If you like huge PvP fights then nope, the playerbase is too small. (137 peak past 24 hours and most seem to play solo) Pros + Map is pretty big + Vehicles + Clunky animals you can hunt + Game looks nice and runs "fine" + Steady upgrades as you level up + Securing your base and fighting hordes + Decent amount of building parts and resources + Server settings let you customize a lot of things Cons - Handful of players - A bit clunky here and there - Lack of updates is a bit worrying - No dual-wielding a weapon and a flashlight as far as I know - Most of the items in the world can't be interacted with or destroyed - You can't pin recipes as far as I know, meaning you go back and forth your storage boxes trying to remember what resources you need
