About

Scavenge and fight for your next day alive under the shadow of gargantuan war machines. Enemies in the game can literally tower over the battlefield. To put it another way:

The battlefield is unpredictable thanks to The Forever Winter’s Dynamic Encounter system: enemies have their own goals and agendas, operating in coordinated groups, undertaking full-scale battles — and they’ll intelligently react to your actions. The battlefield you leave won’t be the same one you return to.
Use your wits, stealth, and skilled gunplay to make it out alive. Choose your path in the shadow of the two great superpowers, loot the dead, and make it out alive. While the warring factions may ignore you at first, the more disruptive you become to their goals, the more they'll seek to remove you from the equation.
Ecological collapse compounded by runaway technological advancement brought us here: a dystopian world choked by 40 years of industrial-scale violence between two military superpowers, AI automata, cybernetically enhanced soldiers, human-machine hybrids, and relentless automated warfare. There's two sides to this war, and you're not on either.

This game gets way more hate than it deserves. There's obviously some stuff that should be fixed (and probably will), like some of the mechanics and bugs, but don't let the negative reviews fool you, the game's incredible. The art, setting, OST, and ambience are impeccable, truly unique, and full of personality. The game also has a lot of content: tons of quests, weapons, upgrades to the innards and maps to unlock. They also add new content and bug fixes every month, which is means that they are stll working hard on the game. The only problems right now are some bugs, performance spikes, and the AI, which has already been "fixed," even though it still has a long way to go. Some mechanics are also kind of wacky, like heavy-caliber rounds and nearby explosions knocking you to the ground. That sounds great on paper, but once you see how fast the enemies fire and how many of them the game throws at you, it usually results in a stun lock that you cannot escape from. There are some maps that are really demanding, and there are some bugs, obviously, but we have to understand that this is an early-access game and there are obviously going to be some issues. I don't know, it's just my opinion, but I feel like people should have a little more hope and patience instead of leaving bad reviews and pushing the game into the ground. I've been having a hard time getting my friends to play it because of that, sadly. If I've had fun so far, I'm sure a lot of other people will too. Give this game the love it deserves! Definitely worth giving it a try when it's on sale :3

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

so far really fun. the community seems to be very helpful.
Goated, ♥♥♥♥ exos and 50 ragdoll tho
I haven't played this since launch day. However, from every video and review I've seen, my biggest problem with the game still isn't fixed. The game advertised itself saying that enemies would mostly ignore you unless you made yourself a threat. This is an outright lie. Enemy patrols will drop everything to target a lonely scavenger running in the opposite direction to them showing no intent on attacking. If you look at an enemy for too long they act like you've verbally threatened them and their entire family. I want to like this game. I really do. It has some of the best art direction I've seen in a video game. But the fact of the matter is I can't bring myself to like it as a video game due to how cruel it is. It really does feel like the entire warzone hates you and you specifically.
Game has more bugs than any game i've ever played, This game should of never been announced in any capacity let alone Released in any capacity. I stopped playing in 2024 and coming back to it nothing has changed, If anything it has only gotten worse. Also the game is invested by AI Chinese, Do not trust Any devs any longer ''Indie'' or otherwise. It is interesting how the games lore is about AI's forcing us into a forever war but here we are Fun Dog Studios controlled by Eurasia lol. Also turns out they use real scans of Russian T-72B's that have been destroyed in Ukraine as the destroyed T-90A, Fairly disgusting all things considered..I guess the company is just attempting to speed run self fulfilling prophecies.

Still needs work but what's here is amazing. It's way more fun than Warframe was when it was still Early Access, has a deep rich world. devs are active on the project and regular updates are made. It's a promising title. You're not the hero in this game, a stray heavy bullet can take you out at the wrong time. You're a civilian scavenger in a 40k-esque warzone. Lots of grind and RNG but the gameloop is fun, runs don't feel crazy repetitive. At the end of it all though you are a scavenger and not at the top of the foodchain. Stealth and ambushing is the way to get a leg up to begin with. Solo friendly but no pause, lose all your stuff on death but can go get it back or buy your same loadout with the press of a button, a lot more forgiving than expected. There's jank, some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spawns on occasion but otherwise it's great fun. Paid $45ish, definitely got my moneys worth. Some of the negative reviews here are similar to Tarkovs in that Call of Duty was expected but tactics were needed.
I'm just now getting into it, and I have hope that the developers will finish and police the game over time! Honestly it's moving faster than some game development that I'm keeping up with so I think it's fine, at least from what I've seen so far. It's definitely early access though. It's lacking some serious polish in key areas that can break your immersion unless you approach it like STALKER sometimes. And you will lose gear to bugs or ♥♥♥♥ you didn't expect or count for, etc. Just expect that.
