Even though this is a horror game, this game is one of the funniest games I've ever sunk hours into so far with my friends. There's just something about the cannibals attacking you that is so funny, and the physics of this game too are so broken that it makes me laugh so hard and just a lot of funny moments with my goofy friends. Good game! 💯
затягивающая игра, сидишь и п#зд#шь канибалов по 6 часов в день
It was a fun experience, it's definitely better with friends. We went crazy trying to get all the achievements. There are some bugs but it's still playable, give it a try guys! We'll start son's of the forest tomorrow, wish us luck :P
Можно бить чумазых их же пяткой, а потом её съесть. Рекомендую!!!
I had a lot of fun with The Forest early on. There's a real thrill in finding your bearings, getting lost in the wilderness, and building up a base to defend against the cannibals. That initial survival loop is genuinely engaging. But it didn't take long before I hit a wall. The game gives you very little direction on what to do next. I kept checking the to-do list, but there's no real indication of how to actually accomplish any of it. The caves, which seem like the main path forward, are so dark that exploring them just isn't enjoyable. You end up alt-tabbing to YouTube tutorials more often than you'd like, and that takes a lot of the magic away. Combat also felt a bit too punishing for me, even on normal difficulty. That's probably a skill issue on my end, but I've always gravitated toward games that offer a bit more guidance as you play or where progression happens more organically. Overall, a strong start that unfortunately loses momentum once the initial novelty wears off. If you're the type of player who enjoys figuring everything out on your own with zero hand-holding, you'll probably love it. For me, it needed just a touch more structure.
