A game of superb meditation, satisfaction, and relaxation.
Got this game WAAAAAAY back when it first launched - bought it again recently out of nostalgia and cause I wanted to enjoy it on Steam Deck. It ran smooth as butter. It's a fun little adventure game that's well worth a visit and I hope to see more from the creator. His "ianiselsewhere" now AurenSnyder website was a source of inspiration for me as I was going through game dev at college. My sole critique with the game, it wasn't a big issue with me at the time, but... yeah... the finale is much more frustrating than fun. From a technical standpoint the whole game is wonderful, but from a design standpoint, the last few levels leave you with a bit of a bad taste. Still worth trying though, and maybe stop when things get intentionally glitchy.

One of the most spectacularly inventive platformers I've played. Wonderfully simple and intuitive to play, with amazing moments of stunning art, music, and puzzle design. Auren Snyder has a wonderful sense of creativity and strong voice as a game designer, and I hope that they release more games again one day. Not one to miss! Игра сложная, ещё даже не допрошёл, но очень крутая
It is rly fun and gives you a chalenge as u go
an all-timer. does so much with so little, in ways that make me feel such sublime dread and love. my 9 hours is several playthroughs over many years and it hangs in the air with me like perfume
I find this game moderately evocative of a smaller scope Fez, at least inasmuch as it's a colourful, vaguely contemplative platformer built around one central mechanical gimmick, with some degree of non-linearity in its hubs and some of its levels. Not to mention the soundtrack by Disasterpeace and the fact that the game is similarly stuffed full of secrets and easter eggs ranging from the accessible to the fiendishly cryptic. It is much less of a puzzle game than Fez though, and substantially less expansive. Aesthetically and artistically I find the game also hearkens back to the creative spirit of the Flash era somewhat. As for its central gimmick, it's in the title: all the level geometry is elastic and trampoline-like, and everything is designed around that. In concept it's the kind of thing to excite your inner child, in practice I'd say the execution is about as good as you could reasonably expect. It's unavoidably janky in parts, but ultimately the physics and the deformations are so genuinely cool and impressive to me. And I absolutely love that some parts and some levels were designed with very clear acknowledgment of the abuse-prone limitations of the physics, but I don't want to spoil the surprise. All in all this is a game I really wish I had played much sooner than I did. In hindsight I feel it didn't deserve to be passed over as "yet another indie 2D platformer".
Simple, charming, relaxing, beautiful. Five stars
super fun, love the atmosphere. kinda wish it had multiple save files but that's about it.
