Gave me a Nam flashback. Immediately reminded of old MS-DOS platformers made by Apogee. Similar artstyle, sound, and gameplay like you would of found back in the day. Make no mistake though as TFS is a modern roguelite through and through, and a damn fine one at that! Pretty darn impressive for the devs 1st commercial outing. Looking forward to seeing what this young blood has up his sleeve next.
This is a fun game with many fun things to discover. The item combinations make me want to experiment to see what builds do and don't work. Would like a couple of things to be touched up, but the dev is working on new and cleaning up the game, so looking forward to what comes in the future.
Written By Hidden Gems Review : https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38624426/, Follow me!
The Feathered Serpent is a Plataformer Roguelite game. Wonderfull retro style game about some kind of prehistoric mayan culture, very challenging but depends A LOT of RNG perks which is a fatal blow for the roguelite side of the game. But still you will have plenty of hours of fun.
Watching the development of this game was such a treat and the end result is something incredibly fun to play. Charming graphics, compelling roguelike gameplay with some true difficulty, that requires skill not luck. Recommend this game for everyone to play!
THIS GAME IS LIT, HAD TO REVIEW EARLY. I was skeptical but all the dopamine traps are there for my hungry brain. No better feeling than getting the item that turns your run from garbage to GOD MODE. Highly reccomend!!!!
Been following Matt for while now, and have seriously been loving watching the progress. Finally we can all play it and it does not disappoint. From all the weapon combos, to the stories, and then having the epic boss battles to top it all off, it doesn't disappoint. I've been loving every second of it, so If your a fan of Binding of Issac, or Mana Spark, your gonna love this. I can't wait to see what Matt makes next.
Honestly probably one of the best rogue-likes I've played in a while. This is so much fun, and smooth. I only got an hour in so far, but I can't wait to keep playing more!!
Game's been really fun so far. Game play is smooth and combat is engaging. Love the graphics and music too. Amazing to see that this is the work of only one developer. Definitely recommend checking it out
I love the game from the moment I started! First the visuals are amazing! I love the dinosaurs and all the story that comes with it. I like that every time i die and replay through the characters have some different dialogue and I can experience their story along with my very own story. And even when you die it's not repetitive because each run through is an opportunity to take new paths and test out different ideas you have! In conclusion it has a lot to offer and it is definitely for you if you like games like Enter the Gungeon, The binding of Isaac, and Hades!
