This is by far the most demanding workout game in vr. Fighting with Bruce Lee could be a blast if not all these game breaking bugs would destroy the workout flow and a motivating progression. The developer abandoned the game in this frustrating state long time ago.
I was skeptical at first but after playing it for half an hour and sweating my ass off this was amazing. Just reached #5 on the leaderboards and i'm sweating my balls off, i mean just wow. This is an amazing cardio exercise. I truly hope there will be more updates to expand on the game. So far it's just the fight that goes up to a certain level and that's it. Hope to see more. Great game, highly recommend to anyone who enjoys exercise.

The best boxing experience so far on the Oculus. The punching feels good and is satisfying, even though there is no resistance as you would normally have when using pads. More customization options (e.g. customization which techniques you want to train) and different modes would be really nice and could make this game to a serious workout tool and not just an arcade style game with one mode. A combo-mode (where you are shown combos of maybe 2 to 5 hits and can train each combo for a while until the game switches to the next combo) would be awesome.

Has a lot of bugs and the Dev's don't seem to be existing anymore. If you buy the game and you don't experience much of the bugs, then you got yourself a honest to God, good game that train your boxing skills well for mitts. If you get the glitches, some people say it is unplayable even. I got lucky and my boxing gloves in game only were looking wrong direction. I had to hold my controllers a little weirdly, but I still try to get my Mitt training everyday with this, since it wasn't too big of an issue for me. For what the game is meant for and how well it actually works when hitting the Mitts, a good 11/10. Never expected such good Mitt Training from VR. For the bugs though, it really drops that 11/10 to a 6/10. That is only because, many people experience these annoying glitches and some people really can't even start the game to experience how good it is sadly. I totally recommend the game, but if you have game breaking glitches, then just refund it after trying it.
I love the vr boxing genre. We all know thrill of the fight reigns supreme. The others I'll mention are dragonfist vr, the training options in knockout league and Golden gloves boxing and while you're not Fighting another person, crazy kung fu deserves mention because it's so well done physics-wise, replayability, graphics. You can go ahead and add fastest fist to the above group. It rivals thrill of the fight. I have no idea who made it, why they abandoned it, but this is one hell of a game. As others have noted, you're basically doing mittwork with Bruce Lee. He's repetitively positive, holding up mitts for jabs, hooks, crosses, uppercuts to the head. There's no bodyshot mitt position. After level one, lee starts throwing mitts back at you with his jabs, crosses and hooks (no uppercuts from him). Hitting as close to the bullseye on each of the mitts with the correct punch will register as giving you higher points. You can only lose points on defense. There's no deduction for failing to hit the mitt. You just don't get the points. And points are what allow you to progress through the levels in the game. You don't meet the points threshold for advancing the game ends, and you start back from the beginning. So that's it. Pretty straightforward. But if you like shadowboxing in vr for exercise or just enjoyment this is right up your alley. The beauty is in how many punches lee starts throwing at you. Knockout league has a great mittwork option, but your coach is only throwing a lighthearted hook at you. In fastest fist, he introduces his punching back and steadily increases it throughout the game. And the timing is such that you're always wary of being to close or too slow to get out of the way. You automatically start bobbing and weaving and slipping in and out of hooks. Of course, without proper footwork you're not really doing anything but flailing your arms. However, I'm definitely pivot in crouched positions a lot in this game. It's a hidden gym lol
DISCLAIMER: If you have hit pads before, think carefully before you get this game. If you can, wait for patches that fix the issues. As another review has said: "This game has an absolute bare minimum amount of content to be considered a game but I still can't help but enjoy it" This is a great experience but at this price right now, this game in it's current state is not a smooth experience if you have ever hit actual pads before. There are 3 main problems: - The trainer animations can feel janky between the different punches. The trainer feels like he resets before putting the next pad up which can make punch combos feel really random, this feels arcadey rather than realistic. - Blocking doesn't work right now, you can only evade punches. The hitbox for evading punches is not bug free, if a punch just barely clips you, you get the same point deduction compared to a clean shot. - There is just one continous wave based mode. If you lose you have to start at 0 again. The dev needs to add other modes and needs to have wave select. Another minor problem is that the trainer sometines hold both pads up for you to do rapid right 1-2s. This mechanism makes the game feel so arcadey because if you want to maximise point and get to the next wave the player must throw tap puches rather than proper form punches. This is only a negative if you are looking for a genuine pad experience rather than an arcadey game. Despite these flaws, this game is a great workout if you throw your punches properly. That's why i recomment this game. For the first time in the history of man you can do pad work without requiring a trainer. To the developer, please don't give up on this game! It has so much potential!
This is great workout. I got torso muscles hurt next day ( this is good thing), this is reason that you cant play this everyday, need time to recover. I have no time for check punching icons behind bruce lee, maybe it should be audio instead?
