About
The Fable: Manga Build Roguelike combines manga, tactical puzzles, and roguelike gameplay into one thrilling experience. Enjoy stylish pixel-art action while testing your flexible thinking and precise strategy!

Collect manga “panels” and arrange them on a page to fight!
Each turn, you receive new panels. Placing them on the page creates your action sequence. Place panels according to the situation, build the ultimate page, and defeat your enemies!

Experience three unique characters, each with their own style:
Akira – A genius hitman who masters gunfire and melee.
Yoko – Akira’s partner who uses mobile attacks to outsmart enemies.
Suzuki – A cold-blooded assassin who uses traps and bullets to defeat enemies.

Damage during battles is represented as holes in the page.
You cannot place panels in areas where there are holes.
Carefully evaluate each situation and defeat all enemies within the turn limit!

Between tense battles, relax with surreal little mini-game events.
Score high, and you’ll have a chance to earn powerful new panels!

For players who want to push their wit to the limit, there’s Puzzle Mode.
Use the given panels to defeat all enemies within a single page.
(Even the developers don’t know how much thought and time the hardest puzzles will take to solve. But don’t give up—there’s always a solution!)

And of course, it wouldn’t be The Fable without him—Yuki, the playboy. At the bar, he challenges the beautiful Yoko to a drinking match. Can this reckless, foolish man impress the Drunk Queen Yoko, or will he just crash and burn?

i don't even read manga, but this game is an amazing rouge like that i thoroughly enjoyed.
Good introduction to tile building board games, if you are interested at all in tile/deck and blind bag type games I think this would be worth your while. Bunch of one page puzzles to play with to discover what kind of combinations you can use, campaign play has 3 characters that bring different tile mechanics. With Akira been unlocked at the start and has a more straightforward playstyle that allows you to get used to the game even if your a newcomer. Has cute sub game filler which is well just filler but helps set the games feels. Overall a positive experience for me.
Steam Deck.
Finally a Roguelike I don't suck at. Since it's not my favourite game genre I can't say if this one is particularly "good" or not, objectively. But I'm having fun, I like the idea, you can build a good strategy that makes sense and the pulls aren't too random (at least at normal difficulty, I didn't play hard yet). You can play a round in between, or enter puzzle mode where you have to beat everyone in one page, which I also like. It's a fun idea too. Why didn't I come up with it? Probably because I'm not a game dev. But I'm a comic artist and I can appreciate it.
I dig it. Interesting mechanics that are sort or a cross between adaptive puzzle and beat-em-up style fighting. Has enough differentiation from what I've played before that I actually like to think about it. It's almost a coding game where you program your character on the fly using random "cards" from your "deck". Are you into finding solutions to problems just so you can occupy your mind? This isn't a terrible way to do it, feels fresh and has some good humor to it. It reminds me of the first gameboy Wario minigames thing from forever ago. Probably better on sale at 50% off if this is strictly a value based proposition.
