Comme The Exit 8 mais en VR. Je crois qu'il n'y a qu'une seule nouvelle anomalie.
Very nice port to VR of the original game.
Fundamentally the same as the non-VR version, save for one anomaly that affect the player's hands, but elevated by being a horror experience IN VR. The price is a bit much, but pick it up on a sale and give it a try!
Short, sweet, and a little unsettling—and VR makes it all the better.
速度太快了 有点晕,对于VR开发来说 确实是一个思路
Хороший vr ходилка
Legalzinho.
The Exit 8 VR is a minimalist yet profoundly unsettling virtual reality experience developed by MyDearest Inc. in collaboration with KOTAKE CREATE and published by MyDearest Inc., translating a deceptively simple indie concept into an intensely immersive VR journey. Rather than relying on traditional horror mechanics such as combat, jump scares, or elaborate narratives, the game places its entire weight on atmosphere, repetition, and the quiet dread that emerges from subtle environmental changes. From the moment you find yourself standing in a sterile, fluorescent-lit underground passageway, the game establishes a sense of isolation and unease that only deepens the longer you remain within its confined space. The premise is straightforward to the point of abstraction: you are trapped in a looping subway corridor, and your objective is to reach Exit 8 by correctly responding to the presence or absence of anomalies. Each walk down the passage forces you to scrutinize your surroundings with intense focus, searching for minute inconsistencies—objects slightly out of place, lighting that feels wrong, figures that shouldn’t be there. If you miss an anomaly or misjudge a normal corridor as altered, you are sent backward, resetting progress and reinforcing the sense that the environment itself is testing your perception. This loop-driven structure turns observation into the core mechanic, making attention and memory the most valuable tools at your disposal. Virtual reality elevates this design in a way that fundamentally changes how the experience feels compared to traditional screen-based play. In VR, the narrowness of the corridor feels oppressive, and the scale of the space becomes tangible as you physically turn your head, lean forward, or hesitate before moving. The act of walking down the passage becomes a psychological challenge, as your mind constantly anticipates change even when nothing appears different. Sound design plays a critical role here, with ambient hums, footsteps, and distant noises reinforcing the illusion of being physically present in a place that is both familiar and deeply wrong. The absence of a musical score allows silence itself to become a source of tension. Visually, The Exit 8 VR opts for realism over stylization, and this choice proves essential to its impact. The environment is intentionally mundane: tiled floors, fluorescent lights, signage, and empty stretches of concrete that resemble countless real-world subway corridors. This ordinariness is what makes anomalies so disturbing when they occur. A small deviation stands out starkly against the otherwise consistent backdrop, forcing players to question their own memory and perception. The game’s restraint in visual effects ensures that nothing feels exaggerated, maintaining the illusion that every anomaly could plausibly exist in a real space. The pacing of the experience is entirely player-driven, which adds another layer of tension. There is no timer pushing you forward and no explicit threats chasing you down the corridor. Instead, fear emerges from uncertainty and anticipation. Each step forward carries the weight of potential failure, and the repetition of the loop slowly conditions players to doubt even the most obvious details. Over time, the corridor becomes less a physical space and more a mental maze, where confidence erodes and hesitation grows with each incorrect judgment. In terms of scope, The Exit 8 VR is intentionally brief, designed to be experienced in a single session. Depending on how perceptive the player is, the experience can last anywhere from a short, tense stretch to a longer period of trial and error. While this limited length may disappoint players seeking extended content or replayability, it aligns perfectly with the game’s concept. The intensity of the experience is such that prolonging it unnecessarily could dilute its impact, and the concise runtime ensures that the psychological tension remains focused and effective throughout. Ultimately, The Exit 8 VR stands as a striking example of how virtual reality can be used to explore psychological horror in ways that traditional games cannot. By stripping away complex mechanics and relying solely on presence, repetition, and perception, it creates an experience that feels deeply personal and unsettling. It is not a game meant to entertain through spectacle or action, but rather to immerse players in a quiet, creeping unease that lingers long after the headset comes off. For those who appreciate atmospheric horror, liminal spaces, and VR experiences that prioritize mood over mechanics, The Exit 8 VR delivers a uniquely memorable descent into paranoia and observation.
