Cave Crave VR

This hasn't been updated since December 17th 2025. Other platforms like Playstation, Meta Quest have receieved: Many new maps; multiplayer; skins; and a story chapter from what I can garner from their posting of updates on other websites. There has not even been communication about this coming to this version, which leads me to believe this is really an Early Access title with unfinished content masquerading as a completed one on this platform. And since it didn't do well for them, they're leaving it behind. Poor practice and management. Don't buy and support this.

I'm big into caving and was really looking forward to this game, especially the promised real-life cave recreations. What I got was only a few hours of real content, and every meaningful update since launch appears to have gone to other platforms — the Steam version hasn't been touched since December 2025. I genuinely like this game and want to see it grow — I'd happily pay for DLC to support more content coming to this platform. But at this point the Steam version feels like an afterthought, and I can't in good conscience recommend spending money on it until the developers show some sign of life here.

Now i know why they call it the Nutty Putty cave, because you have to be absolute NUTS to go in there but also manuverable as Putty to even fit through those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spaces. Not to mention.... Utah sent ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Boyscouts down there? That State has to be one of the most mental states of America.

This game is unsettling in so many ways. Every path is dark and small, to the point where you will have to hold your breath to fit through the small crevices and where breathing in accidentally will suffocate you. That is right up until you randomly discover some long deep drop in the middle of the cave and have to carabine your way down into the darkness. People who do this as a hobby are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy, I felt claustrophobic just doing it virtually. Before playing this, I had actually expected that the whole crawling around thing would feel weird as I was gonna be playing this standing up, but it didn't feel weird at all. The controls are good and intuitive and moving around by pulling yourself forward worked really well. I only had one incident where I glitched through the map, but the game just respawned me at the same place after like 2 seconds. The thing I enjoyed the most though, wasn’t actually the crawling itself, but the climbing part and if there is one thing this game has taught me, it is that a mountain climbing game like Cairn could work super well in VR. Please, someone make that. I will recommend this to VR players who already own a lot of other VR titles and can survive paying 15 bucks for an hour of “fun”. I got around an hour out of it and I am probably not gonna revisit it again. Mfs would go to a cave named "Devils dildo" with a .03 nanometer gap tunnel and still try to go through. Good game tho

Разработчики выпустили эту игру в стиме чтобы просто легко пофармить денег. Для справки: изначально игра вышла в магазине meta. По итогу обновлений на стимовской версии уже нет полгода, а в метовской уже даже мультиплеер завезли и новую карту. Проблем с производительностью нет, но вы быстро пройдете весь контент в стимовской версии и вам захочется чего-то нового, что есть только в meta версии.

很震撼的游戏，自从看了神秘园后就对这种东西很感兴趣，春促偶然刷到这款游戏，发现里面有坚果油灰洞我就立马买来玩了，一口气玩了俩小时，给坚果油灰洞100%探完了，一开始看视频觉得这么宽的洞怎么可能爬不出来呢，直到我亲身体验了才知道那个洞口有多么窒息，真的推荐每一个有VR的都玩玩这款游戏 我想顺便问一下制作组，坚果油灰洞的结构是100%还原的吗？包括拐角，垂直落差，洞口大小？

seems cool, but have to give a negative due to the steam version not being updated yet, while other platforms have gotten a new cave, story mode and multiplayer. dev said achieves and updates would be coming. seems like he's releasing a flat version too. the S.A. strikes again!
