Good game. The gameplay is improved and feels much better, and the stealth mechanics works better. The story, compared to the previous game, feels weaker and less interesting. The puzzles are a bit of a letdown, they were better in the previous game. Overall, the game feels easier than the first one and I think its weaker overall. That said, it's still a good game and worth playing.

Will forever mourn that we didn't get The Evil Within 3. I really like both TEW 1 & 2, kinda for different reason 'cuz they're lowkey different games, but if I had to pick which one I like more I think I'd pick this one. There's a few things I enjoy about TEW 2 but one thing I enjoy compared to the first game is that it feels less clunky. In terms of flaws I really don't have much to say but I would kinda agree that TEW 2 lost some of it's identity compared to TEW 1. Also, I kinda feel like the story being less messy made some of the writing feel sillier than in the first game but I dunno. Overall, great game. Also that cover of "The Ordinary World"? 10/10.

没理解每次打开这游戏，电脑就崩，卡死；得重启第二次进游戏才行，打开之后屏幕显示也要变大。游戏打着也巨难受，第三人称和第一人称视角都玩着难受，也完全没有恐怖的氛围，这还能和逃生坐一桌，垃圾游戏。玩完生化7玩这游戏简直是跟吃到shi没区别。

The Evil Within 2 é uma grade evolução do primeiro jogo, apresentando novas mecânicas e dinâmicas na gameplay. O primeiro jogo era bem linear, esse aqui você tem um pequeno "mundo aberto" para explorar, e até mesmo algumas missões secundárias. Eu particularmente acho o início do primeiro jogo mais interessante, porém nesse, acho o final muito mais marcante e memorável, infelizmente duvido que a gente tenha uma continuação, porque a cena pós-crédito da brecha para isso. De uma forma geral é um bom jogo, bastante divertido uma, história interessante e personagens bem construídos, mas sempre dê preferência para pegar em promoções.

After finishing the first game, I couldn't resist but get the second one AND I'M GLAD I DID... 'CAUSE I LOVED IT!!! I had so much fun (and some suffering) while playing. This game has an open world like playstyle with some extra tasks and, at first I didn't really enjoy it since I was used to the linear story line from the first game making me feel a bit lost(?, but I ended up getting used to it and liked it after a while lol. I reccommend The Evil Within 2 if you´re interested in how the story continues, I'm pretty satisfied with the ending! I cried a bit :') and I also felt the game a bit easier than the first one, I straight up played survival mode and didn't have much trouble. Anyway, The Evil Within games now have a special place in my heart! I'd love to reset my memory just to re-experience these games. <3 <3 <3
