Short but very unique little horror game. Set up for the future games. Pretty good.

I really wanted to like this game, but sadly there seems to be an "infamous" walkthrough breaking bug that I'm also encountering: the gun bug. So that's a shame. I'm surprised this wasn't fixed after so many years...

I enjoyed the game a lot, but I did encounter a couple of bugs. There were a few times where I opened a terminal and it would not allow me to enter text. The only remedy for this was Alt + F4 as the quit command would not enter either. [SPOILERS IN THIS NEXT SECTION] I guess it's not much of a spoiler since the store page shows you have a gun. Anyway, I was unable to fire the gun until I changed my monitor's refresh rate to 60 (from 144) and restarted. In my playthrough, I had to restart the game about 5 times (once for refresh, about 4 times for being unable to enter terminal commands). All things considered, I very much enjoyed the game. I like this, Mothered (though I did need a tutorial to finish it), and I look forward to playing Echostasis! I love the aesthetic of your games and the sound tracks. Even the little things like the screen boarder mimicking a CRT monitor. All of the effects created a sense of immersion I don't often experience. Conversing with demOS and learning more about him as his contamination levels increase was super fun.

Extremely cool game that I was only able to finish by sheer luck due to a glitch. As a heads up, there's an item you need for the last couple levels in the game and if you're running above a certain framerate or your monitor is set to 60hz or above it'll only function about thirty percent of the time. Which is a major issue but up to that point it's just a fantastic game, nothing else like it. It's doable with this glitch but it's very frustrating. I'm gonna recommend it because if you're smarter than me and can fiddle with these settings you'll just have a great game on your hands but please be aware of this issue before purchasing.

Short 1hr game, a few simple puzzles, but a lot of worldbuilding and flavor. I found the experience pretty fun. Overall, a very cool and interesting game that left me looking forward to playing the rest of the trilogy. However, I had to use NVIDIA Control Panel to limit my refresh rate to 60Hz in order to actually finish the game. A major mechanic will be bugged if you do not do this. Super annoying and ruined the great immersion that the game did so well to build up. Apart from that, I don't have any complaints.

Wowie, what a ride. Got stuck at one point trying to get the gun, but other than that this is a marvelous little game, and I sincerely look forward to playing the other entries in the trilogy!
