The Elision Effect is a short surreal puzzle game. The last person finds themselves in an empty office. The place seems off, like it shouldn’t exist. Not knowing what made everyone abandon these liminal spaces, they look for an exit.

6.2/10 - It's okay BUT very pretty. The puzzles are fun and can be slightly challenging. The games atmosphere and vibes are there. But my biggest gripes is that this game was too short and it felt like it ended too abruptly. And I encountered a settings glitch which was frustrating and forced me to restart multiple times. Plus I didn't get an achievement for beating it so had to speed run second time. Overall it's simple and unique game but wish there was more to this!
One of those games that's as much art as it is a game. it took me only about a half hour to get through but it was worth the dollar I paid for it on sale. Definitely recommend, but maybe get it on sale if you're not really into this kind of game.
Decent little soft puzzle game.
Complete ♥♥♥♥, no option to set the keys to move so it’s unplayable at least with a non-qwerty keyboard.
'Intriguing' is the best word I could find to describe it. It has a great art style, a very thoughtful design and an eerie atmosphere <3 Feels very unique & intentional, worth your time. Got this for free Felt like stealing Gifted a copy :)
This isn't a horror game, but I found myself uneasy and a bit skittish while playing this. The term liminal is a bit overused, in my opinion. Seems like any empty hallway with a light out is a liminal space these days. When they say that this game is short, you should believe them. I was genuinely surprised when it was over. I am not a great solver of puzzles and yet I finished this in 22 minutes. The final section employs a very interesting visual effect but I am not sure if I played it correctly because it feels like I found the exit too quickly and maybe missed a bunch of stuff.
Wonderfully eerie and feels like having a bad acid trip at the office. Fun Puzzles and plays with the concept of liminal spaces very well. Would highly recommend if you wanna find out what it's like to have a dissociative episode! :3
One of the puzzles uses a visual effect I've not seen anywhere else.
Короткая бродилка-головоломка в полном одиночестве по офисам, которые со временем становятся всё страннее. Атмосфера имеется, но от этого фильтра глаза отвалились под конец, а так пробежать можно.
