Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Reviews
Classic first-person CRPG with a richly-detailed world. Combat is a bit dated but this game is a masterpiece.
I'm REALLY trying to like at least one Bethesda game and this one is sadly no different to all others. The heart of gameplay for an open-world RPG are the quests. Here, every quest dumps a ton of unmemorable names onto you while providing absolutely no sense of direction or progression. Why should I care? Why should I bother with any of the (mostly) fetch quests? None of them are intrigueing, none of the areas are interesting (it's just a wavy terrain with towns and forts scattered about) NOTHING makes me want to play the game. Maybe at the time this was the best RPG there was but today it utterly dissapoints.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'm an IDF soldier living in Tel Aviv and this is my favorite game
Одна из любимых частей: "Древний крутит свитки: Морро ветер"
Absolute classic.
I. Finished. Morrowind. 🎵 🎵 🎵 Lay down your weapon! It is not too late for my mercy... No recall or intervention can work in this place. There is no escape. I'm a god. How can you kill a god? Come Nerevar... Come and look upon the heart. 🎵 🎵 🎵 I'm crying. I kept space for this game in my heart and mind for too many years. I didn't think it was possible to finish it.
Took 5 minutes to fight a rat because combat rolls weren't on my side, shoutout Tamriel before the levitation ban.
If Bethesda made their games with todays technology they would be the greatest developers of all time, but since they released their games 20 years ago, they do not hold up at all. Skyrim is a fantastic game, then you get interested in the franchise and play Oblivion and notice how janky it is but its slightly more detailed than Skyrim but less replayability. Then you might notice Oblivion had a remaster so you play that and its night and day comparison to the original, Oblivion Remastered is beautiful and shows how amazing the game is. Morrowind NEEDS the Remastered treatment. It looks and plays like an early 2000s game because it is one, that is not a good thing like all the nostalgia blinded people like to think it is. They would rather blame the new players than admit the game they grew up playing is outdated. Like Howard Stark once said "I am limited by the technology of my time" which is the case with Bethesda. The Oblivion Remaster proves how good their games are with quality of life improvements to make it seem like a new game. I want to like this game but its extremely outdated, the only way to like this game is if you completely abandon all other games for 2 weeks just to learn how to play this because of its jank and horrendous controls. (For anyone who hates me for this, i played some of my own favourite childhood games and i HATED them for terrible they actually are. People need to stop being blinded by nostalgia because i was the same at some point but i no longer am.)
Use with OpenMW, installation guides for that are online. I personally recommend the I Heart Vanilla Directors Cut mod pack to finish the package off, it's amazing
Come Nerevar, friend or traitor, come. Come and look upon this grand and intoxicating game.
