The Combat is just a horrible bugged mess that would suffice for an early beta at best and the story is abridged in a way it barely resembles the book it is based on.

the story is amazing but the gameplay is boring and an extreme slog. i cautiously recommend this one.

Short, janky but fun game. The story is quite good and I'm interested in reading the book series after playing this. Good dialogue and surprising amount of choices to make. Fun characters. Sadly the game is really short and most of the gameplay is combat. The combat has fun ideas, revolving around pushing your enemies and avoiding getting swarmed. Sadly the combat is just too janky to be enjoyable and most often it is best to just rush combat objectives and avoid spending time killing orcs. Overall the game is a brief but quite enjoyable experience.

Es macht viel Spaß! Es ist ein atmosphärisches Spiel mit einer packenden Story. Das Spiel ist, nicht so wie viele andere Rollenspiele, mit einer übersichtlichen Charakterentwicklung gesegnet. Es macht einfach Spaß als unverwüstlicher Zwerg Horden von Orks zu bekämpfen.

Uns bugs aqui e outros ali, mas nada que não permita curtir o game. Ambientação excelente, historia bacana, jogabilidade truncada no início, mas pega o jeito e fica bem trivial. Recomendo em promoção!

Wer die Bücher von Markus Heitz kennt, wird dieses Spiel lieben. Man ist mitten drin, das Spiel zieht dich in seinen Bann. Das Gameplay, hätte etwas besser sein können, es ist teilweise komplex die unterschiedlichen Charaktere im Kampf nacheinander zu steuern. Ein RPG, wo man sich nur auf einen Charakter konzentriert, fände ich super, aber man kommt auch so klar.

Horrid controls, nonsensical campaign. 13 minutes was too much for this abyssmal mess.

it's a solid 6 out of 10, get with discount if you are fond of Tactical RPGs (no turns) and Dwarves... Story is interesting. Map movement and "exploration" could be more fleshed out (ration is useless, money is unimportant, amount of turns is very important in the beginning and then completely unimportant). Interesting side quests and side characters. Graphics are clearly outdated. Gameplay is...not so great. It absolutely can shine in some maps, where you can get to cleverly use chasms and explosives and the full "physics", plus the tactical pause to order your characters around to put enemies where you want them. But it can also absolutely suck when you have to follow a specific design or when your characters decide to fully ignore your orders. Worst case in last stages, where you can easily get overwhelmed and characters get unresponsive, despite max level and constant usage of skills. ps. auto hit is useless, you only kill stuff by using skills. Also, mage is OP.
