Duke of Alpha Centauri

Довольно приятная аркада, чем то напоминающее Space Invaders, тока в 3Дшной оболочке, крутым визуалом и ахуительным музыкальным сопровождением, прям как в Risk of Rain. Всё просто-качаете корабль, проходите 20 уровней, 1 из которых бесконечный(то есть играете в нём, пока не устанете и заодно можете докачать то что не успели) и кайфуете. Я пыталься кстати запустить ещё 2 игры от разрабов Just 1337, но какого то хрена эти игры у меня не грузились на компе, или движок Юнити не позволял, или сами игры были старые, как видеокарта Наставника Ну а так в целом, игра прикольная. На час 2 заберёт вас в мир космо дебрей. Рекомендую к ознакомлению

[h1] Beggar of Alpha Centauri. You see the title and start the game with hope of something decent, but then you realize it's more like a p00p in your pants. Fight on different planets keeping all triggers and bumpers (shoulder buttons) on your controller pressed to maximize firepower. Activate drones for even more damage. Each level offers a bit different challenge and various enemies. Formations of spaceships, nothing amazing really. Everything have health bar even asteroids. Backgrounds are nice showing some 3D planet or sun. Music is ok. Controls working good. What to say? Play or leave it as space garbage. [/h1]

Игра архипростая и местами легкомысленная. За 55 рублей получаем скролшутер. Для такой игры даже много будет. Фармим и уровень и ачивменты.

[b][h1]Duke of Alpha Centauri[/h1][/b]According to other reviews this game is recycled from premade game templates and game tutorials which the dev seems to do frequently, It wasn't going to be a positive review regardless because it's fairly simple and really easy once you know how to invest your upgrades leading to the game being very boring. They also do the common thing of all these shady developers where the game price is way higher than it ever reasonably should be, but is always on 90% or more sale to make it look like a good deal, It is not, do not waste any amount of money on this. [b][h2]Gameplay[/h2][/b]The game is a very simple space Shoot 'em up where you kill waves of enemy ships and gain upgrades after each stage, but the different upgrades don't really matter once you know that investing in weaponry is far better than any of the alternatives so it becomes really trivial after the first few stages. [b][h2]Achievements (128/128)[/h2][/b]The achievements aren't difficult, they are mostly spammy, being unlocked by just playing through all the levels, nothing is particularly missable as long as you are using all your weapons and abilities. Nenarocna 2d strilecka ve ktere lze porad drzet strelbu, obcas si zmacknout bonusy jako pridavna strelba nebo stity a v klidu projdete 20 levelu, nejakych 5 minut v endless a easy full achiev run. Behem hrani je nutne si v menu pridat vylepseni. Nejde spustit na win11 - je potreba pripadne do parametru spusteni zadat cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x200000200000000 && %command%" O hru uz se zrejme autori nestaraji. Hlavne to nekupujte za tech 30 Ecek :D ja to mel z nejakyho bundlu

My days, what a miserable experience this game is. Duke of Alpha Centauri is a sidescrolling shmup game where you pilot a space ship and shoot all enemies on screen through each wave until the level is complete. In total there are 20 levels including 2 boss levels. There is also an endless mode once you complete all the previous levels. However, you will only play endless mode for 5 minutes to wrap up the final achievements as you will be sick of this game by that point. I went straight in on hard mode but the true difficulty of this game is not getting bored by the monotonous gameplay. All you do is hold both mouse buttons down and spin the mouse wheel constantly to fire all weapons. The enemies are quite bulky (potentially due to hard mode) which is unnecessary. Just because it takes longer to destroy ships does not mean it's fun. After each level you can level up your ship with a few ability points. I just shoved them all into weapon damage and then the game wasn't quite as boring... for a while. The enemies in each subsequent level gets more bulky and does more damage. By the last level your spending 15 minutes trying not to pull your hair out instead of completing the game. Want to be able to complete the game quicker? Good news! If your ship gets destroyed and you continue then it gives you another dose of ability points. Three lives means you get an unintentional 3x experience multiplier :D The music is ok but it does not suit the game at all which seem to be a habit with this developer. Want silence? Just get your ship destroyed and it just unceremoniously ends. There are Music and SFX options but they only work for half the game! Speaking of getting your ship destroyed, be careful as it can mess with the enemy count which means you'll just be floating in space infinitely until you pet the asteroids. This means you have to restart the horrendous experience again. The graphics are ok. nothing to write home about but not unpleasant either. It soon gets very samey though as all the ships look the same and aren't diverse like the game description states. Finally, £24.99?!? No bloody way. I was "fortunate" to get this in a Steam key bundle and still feel scammed. This does seem to go on sale very often and when first released was £1.99 but I would still avoid this like the plague. Poor form, devs. Poor form indeed.
