The Drift Challenge

This game is awesome. It is definently worth more than the price is and its being updated constantly. I think everyone who likes these type of drifting games should definently buy it since its so cheap. The game also has an awesome discord where you can tell your opinion and give suggestions for the game. Overall its an awesome game and definently worth it.

This game has a lot of potential. Some of the challenges like complete 50 clipping zones are a bit overpowered, but this is a great way to spend a $ and have fun. Can't do anything else fun for an hour for less than 1$

Pretty simple but good cheap fun. One of the better handling games I've played for this market of smaller drift games but lacking in terms of the car upgrades. Can't complain for $1 and of course this is early access, so looking forward to the future!

This is neither an arcade,nor a simcade,I tried to like this game but the handling is baffling and that is even more apparent with the amount of options for an actual sim experience rather than what the game advertises itself as. To put simply,let off the gas,you spin...no reason.Tap the brakes,you spin....This is neither arcadey where you can slide like mad by tapping the brake nor is it a simcade where a well performed brake will give you an advantage in a corner.Honestly I have no idea what the direction is but it is infuriating to have your car "perform" like an arcade 1 second and the next it turns into...well not even a sim it just comes to a halt at mach speed. TL;DR I have no idea who this is supposed to cater to,but its neither an arcade,nor a simcade.

So let's talk a little about this game. You came here from Goosiest. I came here from him too. I bought the game cuz Goosiest said some nice stuffs about this game. And i played it a little. Tested the mechanics. I will tell you now if it s worth the money or no. First of all, a lot of cars! This is nice. Lots of ways to go so you don't get bored. Multiplayer so, you have the opportunity to play this game with your friends. You also have career mode, if you want to have fun you even have freeroom mode. All these details matter. The graphics is in turn very okay considering that the game is in early access and costs less than a dollar. The physics of the game is quite good, and diversify towards other games. This game gives you a different gameplay than other games with cars / drifts, this leads to a driving mode that you have to master. You can't come here directly from other car games and think you can already control the cars and this game. I drove a little bit in this game. I studied the graphics and maps that the game provided me, and I came here to tell you my opinion about this game. Conclusion. Is it worth buying this game? Given the price and details that this game offers you with its purchase, I do not regret that I gave this price. Great physics? Not really Drift game for 0,79? Yes Worth it? Definetly Cool game

This game is amazing. Really nice car models, good physics and it's grown a lot since it was first launched. Sure, there's not a AAA game worth of content here yet, but it's well worth more than the price they're asking for it, I know that much. Well worth it. I've gotten over an hour of fun out of it and I'm still looking forward to playing again to clear the free roam drift areas, level up and get some more cars. So, developers, keep up the amazing work and please keep this going because in my opinion you're on to something really cool here!!!

I like game so much. For a early access its pretty well good, the physics are good, maybe give us some real car like real same cars as in real life that make it so much better, and i want to have a costumize for exterior and interior, you gonna add that right ? at first its strunggling so bad but getting better after that. after all the game was so goob more improve <3<3<3

I'm not really sure if The Drift Challenge counts as an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. The Drift Challenge is a racing game with a drift-centric positioning.. the idea is you do races and get more points for drifting, because I guess regular racing isn't good enough for gamers nowadays. Despite garnering a few positive reviews, overall the game was a complete failure, with only 1-2 players logging on and trying to play every few days, then quickly deleting it. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. So where did this fall down? Well, basically it looks and feels like a frankenstein game, a kitbash of various Unity assets. The crux of the game comes from this Unity, package, [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrfDWlQ-sno]Edy's Vehicle Physics for Unity[/url] and while that does "work", it's a clunky and unpleasant mess to play. The developer dumping a few environments and flipped car assets on top of a bad driving engine resulted in... yep, you guessed it, a bad gaming experience that didn't hold gamers attention. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? The Drift Challenge is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. If you want a proper driving game, it's better to invest in professionally made games. For a more arcade experience, there's NFS games, and for more simulatory or racing there's Project Cars/Assetto etc etc. Try those instead of this.
