This is one of the best BL VNs I have ever played in my LIFE. I wish I could just play for the first time again, because I don’t think anything could really match that experience. The story is so gut-wrenchingly beautiful and the characters are amazing… I know this review may sound like a joke (I sincerely hope it doesn’t, though), but I’m being 100% serious. I love this VN. I hope we get to see more of Lucius sincerely.. I’m so glad this exists . Anyways, if you like a good, angsty story and you liked the other Divine Speaker – you’ll adore this

Wow, I am crying like a baby. This story was sooo good. Even thought I knew things would end sadly after playing the other game, I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster that this game was lol. It makes their reunion in the next game all the more sweet though

overall a good Visual Novel. can recommend it. the full price is a bit to high, but in offer for like -60% good.

this is sadder than i imagined it would be. it's also shorter and kinda rushed but i think it was enough since it's a prequel...still loved it. one thing i still don't understand: [spoiler] why is lucius kinda the same in all his lifes? isn't he supposed to be using other bodies? why is he so simillar? coincidence i guess? maybe cause he needs to be recognisable for us? idk still weird tho- [/spoiler]

ALL I KNOW IS PAIN AND SUFFERING 😭😭😭 starts off real cute and sweet for both couples but becomes beautifully tragic i love the fleshing out of lucius' character, he shot up to my top 3 favs thanks to this

where is the other part im crying 10/10

So heartbreakingly sad and yet so compellingly told. Pure emotional rollercoaster. 10/10 angst mixed with sweet moments to twist the knife even further. Exceeded all my expectations. Really elevates the whole series. My recommendation would be to finish a route of Divine Speaker first, then this prequel and then back to the main game to play the other routes.

If you enjoyed The Divine Speaker, PLAY THIS - you will not regret it. The Divine Speaker: The Sun and the Moon brings you back into the world that you love and adds so much depth onto the story. As it is a prequel, you learn about why things turned out the way that they did, and get to see a short glimpse of the future. This one does not have choices which affect the outcome and it is not as long but it is still phenomenal, story rich, and so engaging. I found it even more emotional than The Divine Speaker and it truly broke my heart to see how things came to be with Lucius, Aemyl, and Caspian. ** I do not recommend playing this until AFTER you have played The Divine Speaker, as the prequel will give you spoilers for the main story.
