The game is easy to pick after the first few minutes of playing it. Different characters and weapons to pick from makes game more enjoyable. Game with the mutants gives it more then just a general casual game feel. Pro's Fun for a group of friends to play Different characters to pick from as you level up Low system requirements to run the game Its got achievement's Casual retro looking party game Its cheap Con's Limited controller support (WIP) Soundtrack gets annoying after sometime Glitches like invisable players and mutants attacking you Overall the game is solid to play with your friends for a couple of hours at a time.
Could be fun but the community has completely flatlined two weeks after release and it's not really worth buying as a single player game. Try it if it ever does a free weekend I guess, but it's pretty much already on the giant pile of dead multiplayer games.
Miner Meltdown: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, let’s check our equipment, shall we? We have pickaxes, dynamite, guns . . . flamethrowers . . . bazookas. . . Are you sure we need those? I thought we’re going to dig for gold and diamonds. What? There is another group of four miners that will enter this mine at the same time as us. On second thoughts, what else can we take? It’s OUR gold and specious stones and I’m sure they’re thinking what we’re thinking. It’s going to be a Miner Meltdown! Miner Meltdown is an action /online co-op game where you and three other players (or bots) will face another group of four opponents in fun and fast battles through randomly generated mines. There are three types of modes in Miner Meltdown. In Diamond Dash, you collect diamonds by killing mutants and opponents and make your way to the drop zone to score points. In Deathmatch, you’ll receive ten points each time you kill an opponent and three points when you eliminate a mutant. In those two modes, the team who accumulates the most points will win the battle. In the Crazy King mode, you and your teammates have to be in the king zone to score points; you can’t miss it, a large blue circle which moves around the mine. The first team to reach one hundred and fifty points will win the round. You can join or host a game. As the host, you can select the duration of the game. It could be five minutes (or less), twenty minutes, or even a few hours if you wish. Plenty of fun if you play with a group of mates. You can also customize your miner by selecting one of several skins available before starting a game. Additional skins will be unlock as you level up. In terms of the game play, it’s fast and really fun; either you play online with your mates or against bots. You can select the bots’ level of difficulty (easy, medium or hard) when you setup the game. At the end of your wagon ride, you’ll be greeted by a character who will show you what he as under his coat . . . and by that, I mean weapons, guns, machine guns, flamethrowers, grenades and other great goodies. You will be allocated a certain amount of gold before entering the mine and I would advise you to choose your items carefully. The mines will have existing paths to follow but as a true miner, you’ll start digging your own path with a view to collecting gold which you can use to purchase new weapons or equipment when you see the man in the long coat. You’ll be given five coins each time you manage to collect gold nuggets. You might find additional gold when you find and open a chest. However, you’ll probably receive additional weapons and gadgets rather than gold. With all that digging going on, you’ll still have to fight the miners from the other team. Great fun! Graphically, the pixel artwork is well done but I must admit that I am not a fan of the soundtrack. I find it pretty annoying. The good news is that you can disable it. Control-wise, I preferred the keyboard and mouse option which gave me better gameplay. Positives: ~~~~~~~ - Good pixel artwork - Randomly generated mines - Fast and fun gameplay - Miners customization and skins to unlock - Achievements Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - No trading cards - Not a good soundtrack! A fun game to play online with your mates! It’s a Miner Meltdown! 7/10 Key provided by developer/publisher for review purposes. Any opinions expressed are entirely my own! Really a good game! You can play 1 vs 1 or with teams try to find your gold fast and instantly go get your items so you can explore the mines, you must find the opponent team and destroy them, you wont be able to see them in your radar, so dont rush to hard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TsAhFUrrEM
This game has great potential, but I never had the chance to play a single round. Mechanics may be a bit funky (like the ropes), but the overall gameplay is fairly decent. The thing is, there are no online lobbies that have people playing. The Miner Meltdown community is way too small, and each room requires 8 people to play. I bought this game for $1.75 with the steam discounts from a Don't Starve Together Bundle creation, but if you plan on purchasing this game for $7, you might want to reconsider. I will probably switch my recommendation when I find other people to play with, and I hope the devs implement some sort of lobby with bots to practice with. Maybe buy this game when there's a huge sale. Don't waste $7 on an undeveloped game with no opponents to face or practice with.
Game looked pretty fun, sad I couldn't try it since NO ONE plays it and it's an online multiplayer game. All I could do is the tutorial :(
It just came out in Early Access and it's already good: Pros: The graphics are good The animations are good The sounds are good It's really cheap Controls are easy to learn [You could play with a laptop touch pad] Random World Generation is done well Any PC can run this Con: A glitch where the mutants are invisible [but the game just came out and it should be fixed soon]
Miner Meltdown İncelemesi
Merhaba dostlar, size bu oyun hakkındaki görüşlerimi sunayım. Oyunu oynamak cidden zevkli ama oyunun şu an hiçbir kullanıcısı yok maalesef.
Mine to get sum gold then buy better equipment and fend off enemies. Rinse and repeat.
Gameplay is okay but the problem is it is a multiplayer only game and the comunity i tryed to play but no one does so i think the devs should update the game so it has offline or singleplayer
