About
An epic medieval action-adventure video game that is definitely not a legend.
If you're looking for a game where you blow up a lot of stuff or murder a lot of people... this is not your game.
If you're looking for a game that's a beautiful visual spectacle... this is not your game.
But, if you're looking for witty razor-sharp satire on the themes of video games in our society... this is still not your game.
If you are looking for a zany spoof in the style of Monty Python and Mel Brooks... this is your game.
The beautiful, redheaded, and obnoxiously thin Princess Carmeana has been kidnapped and held ransom. The King, not wanting to incur the expense of deploying the army, decides to recruit a "fairy boy" to Rescue the Princess™. Meanwhile, there lived a poor farm boy named Kai (pronounced "Lance"). One day as he was trudging back to town, he encountered a fairy named Tabitha and saved her from financial ruin. Tabitha decided to tag along with Kai for awhile (it was the least she could do). As luck (or Destiny, depending on whether you believe Tabitha or Kai) would have it, they soon encountered an army recruiter who was looking for a "fairy boy". Kai's Glorious Quest™ to save the hot rich skinny redhead had begun.
In this third-person action adventure, Kai will travel all over the ostensibly medieval kingdom of Bowtudgel (rhymes with "cow cudgel") in his quest to Rescue the Princess™. Along the way, he will solve puzzles, make money, conquer a set dungeons that are one-to-one with the Kingdom's major biomes, help people (sort of), kill enemies (sort of), buy hats, and find future DLC sidequests that you know very well the game developers will never get around to making. Along the way, he'll discover that there might be something even bigger at stake than a missing princess....

hey you can't review this its a logical fallacy!
Für eine wirkliche Bewertung ist meine Spielzeit noch zu gering Anscheinend ist es aber ein gutes Spiel. The Ditty of Carmeana macht einen guten Eindruck auf mich. Musiktechnisch finde ich es sogar relativ gut vertont.
Ladet mein PS4 Controller-Profil herunter, damit lässt sich das Spiel relativ gut spielen.
This game is silly, clunky, and very very special. It makes me remember why I like video games! I would take many many more of these before AAA slop because this has soul. Obviously this game is a parody of the Legend of Zelda but it doesn't really resemble the past 20 years of "haha, game logic" humour, nor does it resemble humour from other recent indie games. Pretty much every joke lands and the constant absurdity is a treat. The game admonishes you for skipping through dialogue by making you select "Yes, [x] has to be explained several times to me".
There's a recurring joke where if you select an option that you don't understand a joke the game will *open a new window in your default browser to a Wikipedia page explaining*
Good game! Play it! You won't regret it! There are many many jokes I would like to list here but I won't spoil them.

Absolute nonsense of a games that i enjoyed every minute of it. Started watching a youtuber play the game and just couldn't believe it was a game. It's definitely worth the time and money, just a fun silly game that you can enjoy for a few hours.
I knew I should have finished my studies in aerospace engineering
Minha namorada queria jogar e comprou pra mim, jogamos um pouco e quase terminamos, o jogo é bom ? Não sei tava ocupado olhando os smegma dela.
Okay, so I need it to be clear that this review is not ironic, as the game may give that impression. This game rocks. Outside of the game's fun comedy and writing, I have adored exploring the world so much. One moment I'm in a relaxing market selling water, and an hour later I'm completing a resident evil styled dungeon with puzzles and satisfying progression. For the price asked, this is one of the best purchases on Steam. I've been streaming the game to some friends while I play and they seem to agree: This game is fantastic, and if the appearance of it puts you off, ignore that for a bit and have some fun. I don't think you'll regret it.
This game is a something else. If you are looking for quirky, zany and fun like a Monty Python movie packed into a short open world adventure game then this is for you. Also, zombie supermodels and speed boots! YEET!
Just to be clear: This is a review written by someone who've played this game for 34 minutes since purchasing it in 2022. It's not that I didn't like the game, but immediately felt that "Oh I need some proper time to fully experience all the crafted ironies and nuances laid out and hidden within this crusty jewel". Well, shortly after that, life happened. I went through lots of stuff irl, and could only afford to play some ancient mind-numbing ARPGs and idle games, lifelessly farming stuff or watching numbers go up between long hours of work. Yet I was constantly surprised and delighted to see big and small updates on this niche-est of niche titles in my library throughout these few years. This review is kinda my way of saying "loving the work and dedication you've put and been putting into this little satirical game" to the devs. Good news is I think things are going to get stable for me now, and I might get back to it. Might update this if so.
A unique experience that has to be played to be believed.
