Уныло и скучно
https://youtu.be/d9nAeX4p9u4

The Disappearance of the Mitchells is a budget title. It's a short, small atmospheric indie horror game. The story is.....there. It's not amazing but it exists. It is there. The basic gameplay is navigating around the Mitchells' house and finding keys to open up locked doors, which leads to more keys, which leads to other more interesting plot devices (not keys but they sure do like to keep their ♥♥♥♥ locked up,) and that's as far as I got. I wasn't able to complete it but I think I was about halfway though. There's no saving. Once you close you start your run over. From what I can tell a full run of the game probably takes about an hour. If you know where everything is you can probably beat it very quickly. The puzzles are simple but navigation and item management can be confusing and challenging. I haven't beaten it yet but plan to return to it soon. Graphically it looks alright for its budget. There are quite a few graphical options. You can rebind keys which I am very thankful for as a left handed person who plays with whacky key binds. Lately a lot of these walking sims have been completely ignoring key rebinding. Bad things: I feel like the candles burn out a little too quickly. Half of my playtime was spent navigating around in the dark because I was trying to conserve matchsticks. I'm conflicted about the price. It feels a little high for such a rough budget title. I feel like at $5 or under this would be an alright experiment. Overall you can tell there's a lot of potential here and I hope the developer builds on it and pushes something even better and more ambitious out next time.
This game would be good if there was even the smallest piece of direction. Im just running around opening all of the cupboards and drawers and getting no where. It gets old really fast. Ive turned on an electrical switch, no idea what that did, and now ive run out of candles (because they burn down way too quickly) so all im doing is opening the same drawers and doors over and over again, in complete darkness, with nothing happening and music suggesting something should be happening, but its not,. BOOOORRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGG
Great game!
This is an okay indie horror game. The music, setting, and jump scares did get my heart beating faster and tested my nerves a bit. But I wish there would have been more scares. The story is pretty straight forward and a little simple, but the story works for the game. It has an interesting horror element, but a little more backstory would have given the story more depth. The main gameplay requires searching the house, solving puzzles, and finding keys. As for the graphics, the game looks really solid for an indie game. I was impressed with the lighting, details on items, and size of the house. The only issues I had were a few bugs when lighting candles (they would instantly go black after lighting them) and having a tough time finding/seeing the keys. Not sure the current price is really worth it (the reason I don't recommend it). I received the game for free, but don’t think I would have purchased it otherwise. I found the game to be more frustrating than fun at times.
It can creep you out, but i feel the game is badly designed
Recommend if you are a fan of horror / puzzle games.
还行,凑合的恐怖游戏 就是有些钥匙不知道开哪里的门,特别是有一把钥匙找的我好累
Cool little indie game, you're here looking for clues about the disappearance of.. Found 3 different endings. Best ending is being a coward. xD
