About
The Deed is a game in which you must commit a murder and then, through a process of making the right choices and planting the appropriate evidence, convince the authorities of your innocence and somebody else's guilt. The stand-alone expansion Dynasty offers three new scenarios based on this original concept.
Taking place in three different eras, each of these new scenarios allows you to explore the sordid ancestry of the Bruce family as you take control of a character who aims to commit a murder and escape free of suspicion by framing one of the other characters in the game. You will explore a 15th century English castle and a wild west frontier saloon, before finally returning to Dunshiel House fifty years prior to the events of the original game.
Just as in The Deed, every decision you make can influence the outcome and lead to one of many possible endings, which are even more varied and numerous this time. There are many ways to do the deed, multiple pieces of evidence to use to your advantage and a wide selection of characters to frame for your crime.
Explore the Setting
This expansion aims to provide richer and more varied environments which immerse the player in the various historical time periods of the game, whether it's Medieval England under the reign of Henry IV, a violent frontier town in the Old West or a grand old estate in the Victorian era.
Meet the Characters
Each scenario contains a number of non-player characters, some of whom are based on real historical figures, and almost all of whom can be framed for the murder. The conversation system has been developed and improved, offering a greater amount of control for the player and more branching options which will lead to a more unique experience every time.
Choose the Murder Weapon
Choose from various murder weapons appropriate to the time period in which you find yourself, whether it's a medieval greatsword, a pair of household scissors or a good old-fashioned six-shooter. Figure out which method of murder is likely to point towards a character other than yourself.
Plant the Evidence
Items of evidence can be used in multiple ways to raise the suspicion of the authorities. Think carefully about which piece of evidence could be used to frame which characters, depending on where you plant it.
Face the Authorities
There's no question that the stakes are higher this time. Life in prison is one thing - but what about finding yourself on the headsman's block or strung up at the gallows for a grisly public execution?
Life could be brutal in the olden times, and so could the death of a convicted criminal. Can you manage to do the deed while also avoiding such a terrible fate?

I tried to kill my victim using bare fists. No idea he was stronger than me. Now I know. 10/10.

I used Steam Roulette and it landed on this game; I had no idea it existed or even that I owned it, i committed a murder and was sentenced to the guillotine that was about it.
I went back and forth on this one for a while. My experience was a pretty mixed bag, but I can see a lot of the charm and, frankly, the game is super cheap so I'm hesitant to be too critical. Since there's no "maybe" option for reviews though, I'll have to give it a "no" and do my best to explain why. For the good: I think the concept here is honestly really compelling!! It was interesting to explore the different levels, work to understand how you can put together your alibi as well as actually do the deed itself, and to uncover stories about all the characters along the way. This setup is pretty fun and especially for a point-and-click RPG Maker game I think it's done well, plus I did have a good time for my first few runs of each "level" (character + time period). Some of the endings were actually pretty creative too, especially in seeing how you'd have to set up your responses to other characters and use very specific timing to get some plans to go off without a hitch. I can respect just how many routes/endings there are, so it really does feel like you have a variety of ways to do everything, and the writing was pretty okay too. I feel like if you're not a chronic "must complete all achievements when possible before considering a game 'finished'" person like me, you'll prolly have a great time just exploring a few endings for each character and calling it a day. For the bad: Man, this game got to be a real slog when I tried to get every ending. There's quite a bit of dialogue, which is fun for the first lil while, but it *really* makes things drag when you've already read it all before but still have to go through the paces anyway or else risk ruining the ending you're going for. Additionally, picking some dialogue options but not others was the only way to achieve some endings ime. This made some runs a real exercise in patience once I had to keep retrying with subtly different dialogue choices, to the point where I might frankly recommend a guide if you want to get every ending also. This was such a bummer, since it did eventually ruin the premise that I originally enjoyed. Ultimately, I felt like seeing every ending was more of a "finish it just to have everything done" rather than a true attachment to the stories, which is ultimately why I decided to not recommend it since it just didn't hook me in the end. All that being said, it's only 3 bucks and the initial "discovery" phase of playing through for the first handful of times was fairly enjoyable. Mostly up to you if you think it's worth your time =))
А что тут говорить то, ничего не понял
Excellent dark RPG! The variety of kills, the atmosphere of past eras, and the ability to avoid punishment are pleasing. Short, but very addicting.

I won this game on Steamgifts but it was a pleasant surprise. You select one of three scenarios and must murder someone who wronged you and frame someone else for the crime. There are several endings and it can even end with you dying after you commit the murder obviously that is the bad ending. I may play this game more in the future. I was going to upload my playthrough on Youtube but the gameplay is in such a tiny window I didn't see a point. Despite the game being in full screen I think that is because my monitor is set to 1920x1080 and the game can't display that high of a resolution. Oh well fun game anyway.
