About

Detective Jack Foster rejoins the police department after a traumatic incident to take over the investigation of what appears to be mere political blackmail. Soon, however, he's faced with the discovery of a gruesome ritual murder that took place in a sealed room, from which no one could have gotten in or out without being seen. Along with his new partner, Harvey Whitman, an expert on cults, Foster dives deep into the shadows of the city of Arkham.
The case will get even darker when they find out it is related to three witches that escaped the Salem trials in 1693, and a conspiracy that could put an end to the world as we know it.

A great game as expected from Postmodern Adventures. A lot of fun. Puzzles aren't overly complicated, but in this one there were two times where I knew exactly the kind of item that I needed to move forward (
food for the park bowl
and
a hole puncher for the key card
) but I really couldn't find them in any of the logical places, so I had to look it up in a guide. I think being able to highlight hotspots would have reduced the pixel hunting a bit too, but it wasn't terrible. Anyway, still a definite recommend. Great story and game!
If you're a fan of both old-school adventure games and cosmic horror, this game is for you.

Postmodern Adventures continues its trend of putting out fantastic little adventure games and thoroughly researched period pieces. This is number four, following Urban Witch Story, Nightmare Frames, and An English Haunting. I'm a big fan. Keep them coming, guy.
Juegazooooooooooo.
Great classic point and click. Mature themes, captures the Lovecraft vibe perfectly across the canon. Interesting characters and writing, fair puzzles - just way too short overall for my feeling.
It is basically "Lovecraft Universe The Adventure Game" and it is very good at what it is doing.
A fantastic modern addition to the classic adventure game genre. I enjoyed every single minute of this game, and you should too!
What an incredible game! As a fan of H.P. Lovecraft's works (despite their... unfortunate context) I'm a huge fan of this. This feels like the 90's Lovecraft Horror Point nad Click Adventures, i.e. Prisoner of Ice, In the Shadow of the Comet, but with the polish of a modern engine and sound design. I cannot stress how good this is, A good 10-12 hour experience for less than 20$ with excellent art direction, wonderful writing, and outstanding sound design. I have yet to play the developer's other titles but this has cemented that i will, in fact, be getting them. The egregious Point-and-Click logic of the 90's is present but the solutions are made far more obvious in comparison and characters comment on it, which gives the game a lot of charm! It has a ton of humor and had me audibly laughing, and the game is very well balanced when it comes to exploration and how long areas are relevant. Nothing overstays its welcome and I was drawing my own conclusions until near the very end. I especially appreciate how the world is very fleshed out, lots of the source material is canon and represented, the many references are subtle and tasteful, and i was consistently relating to our two main characters throughout! This is a big recommend if you're into the Lovecraftian lore and/or setting. For 15$ (I got it for 13$ during a sale) This is very worth it nad the multitude of achievements gives the game a lot of replayablility for what it is! I'm unsure of how the other games in this 'series' are, however I hope this gets some sort of follow-up, the Innsmouth plotline is incredibly interesting and I hoped for a bit more!
Absolute stunner. The atmosphere, the puzzles, the pixel graphics, the music, the story. Get this! And afterwards try Nightmare Frames (act 1 a bit weak but act 2 is amazing).
Awesome for point and click adventure enthusiasts! Solid aesthetics, interesting areas, good puzzles, awesome lore, great dialogue. Some social/political commentary from a modern perspective I didn't ask for, but, whatever. 8/10.
