Wow.... I was expecting a decent pixel-adventure game, but I wasn't expecting this good level of writing. Strongly recommended to pixel-adventure fans and Lovecraft fans. + Very good written characters and story. Combines multiple Lovecraft ideas/stories and mixes them to have a coherent story. + Very good pixel art + Interesting and varied places to visit + Good humor that works very well with the game - Puzzles are generally simple

De las mejores aventuras de Meléndez, que ya es decir. Todo un imprescindible para los fans de Lovecraft, el terror, el cine noir, los point & click y los videojuegos bien escritos. Totalmente recomendado!!

This was way better than I expected it to be. The demo had me skeptical given some repeititve, bland writing in the initial scenes... but I went ahead anyway after reading so many positive reviews. The artwork is impressive and only twice did I need to reach out to find hints at puzzles I was stuck on. I'd wish for a longer game, simply because the gameplay loop was so intriguing, but the low price makes it a comfortable balance.

Очень добротная игра по мотивам творчества Говарда Филипса "Неописуемого Ужаса" Лавкрафта. Кругом тонна фансервиса, а также персонажей из рассказов оригинального автора, но всё это аккуратно встроено в повествование и декорации, потому не возникает ощущения, что это всё отсылки ради отсылок. Сюжет простенький, но местами интригует, хорошо передана атмосфера США середины 30х. Перед прохождением настоятельно рекомендую ознакомиться со следующими произведениями Г.Ф. Лавкрафта (без них трудно будет местами понять что к чему): 1) Дагон 2) Музыка Эриха Занна. 3) Другие боги 4) Герберт Уэст 5) Зов Ктулху 6) Данвичский кошмар 7) Тень над Иннсмутом 8) Хребты Безумия 9) Шепчущий во Тьме

The pixel art is fantastic, with a huge variety of beautifully crafted scenes and plenty of memorable characters. Visually, this is easily the game's strongest aspect. Unfortunately, the story unfolds in a very scattered way. Instead of feeling like one cohesive narrative, it often comes across as a collection of ideas and events loosely stitched together. On top of that, the dialogues are, as usual for this developer, *very* lengthy. At times it feels more like an interactive movie than a point-and-click adventure. In the end, *The Dark Rites of Arkham* is a strange mix of elements that could have made for a great game but never quite come together. I found myself constantly skipping dialogue just to keep the pacing moving, and that's simply not what I look for in this genre. If you enjoy long, story-heavy experiences, you may appreciate it more than I did, but it wasn't for me.

Que puedo decir los tres juegos de la compañia son una delicia de aventuras graficas , tiene muchos giños y una historia que te atrapa , no es dificil ni nada y es muy intuitivo , este por lo general de los tres que tienen es mi favorito y me encanta el pixel art que tiene , me gustaria mas juegos así a futuro y si puede ser aunque sea con IA un doblaje a nuestro idioma Españita , espero la siguiente historia de terror llegue pronto y sea mas largo que nunca , los comprare todos

Una auténtica maravilla de point and click clásico, con la maestría narrativa y jugable marca de la casa por parte de Postmodern. Sacando el máximo partido de la ambientación lovecraftiana y haciendo auténticas virguerías gráficas con el motor AGS, este juego es compra obligatoria no sólo para cualquier amante de las aventuras gráficas, sino también para todo amante de los módulos de La LLamada de Cthulhu con los que Chaosium sumergió a toda una generación en los horrores del país de Lovecraft.
