In Memoria, players travel through different time periods, following two distinct protagonists: Sadja, a southern princess who wants to be a war hero, and Geron, a bird catcher who wants to lift a curse from his girlfriend.

- Good ol' game of the yesteryears - Good fun to play with a friend by your side. I played it on Parsec with a friend to solve the puzzles - Intriguing story

My opinion of the game is in the middle. Its not good nor bad. Just average. I almost game it a recommandation but there are so much point and click adventures that are more fun, that I would only play it, if you run out of alternatives. What I didnt like about the game: * The main Charakter is extremly borring. We has no charme, no interessting lines. Take Rufus form Deponia for example, he has always funny lines. I think a point and click adventure needs an interessting protagonist. We explore the world with him. If he doesnt say interessting stuff, when we click on objects or interact with them, then why would you even click on something? Normally I try to click on everything to see the interactions. In this game there where times where I was in a room full of things and just wanted to live without clicking on anything. There is a part in the game where it switches to a female character in a cave, this character was much more interessting than the main charakter. Also the cave part had some feeling of danger which the rest of the game lacks. * The artstyle: its borring. This game looks like any average Doungeon und Dragon game. It has nothing special about it. Look for example at the Amanita Design games and how creative there artstyles look. * Charme: the game lacks its own identity or charme. Its just about a wizzard in a middle age word. There are thousand RPG Games in a similar setting. * Story structure: i don't like the dramaturgical structure of the game. It starts with the main character wanting to save someone. Something like this only hits emotional if you first show the realtionship between both. Like you need to show the bond between the characters, then bring one in danger and have the other save him, Its also not a great concept. Because thats how most point and click adventures start. Someone needs to be saved so we have a reason to go out. What I liked about the game: * The point and click things you have to do are often fun. But can also be borring. * I liked the part where you are in a cave in the beginning. Its more exciting then the rest of the game.
The Dark Eye: Memoria is a point-and-click adventure focused on exploring environments, collecting items, combining them, and using spells to progress. I started the game without a guide but eventually switched to using one because I frequently found myself walking back and forth between areas with no clear indication of what to do next. Progression often depends on using spells on specific objects or locations, finding the right item combinations, or performing a particular sequence of interactions. When you miss the next step, progress can come to a complete halt. What frustrated me most was that many solutions didn't feel intuitive. Even after checking a guide, there were numerous moments where I couldn't see how the game had reasonably led me to that conclusion. Rather than feeling rewarded for solving a problem, progression often felt tied to discovering a very specific interaction the game expected. The story was decent enough, and the voice acting fit the characters well. If you're looking for a fully voiced point-and-click adventure and don't mind occasionally relying on a guide, you may enjoy it more than I did.
The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, Memoria
I love this game. In my opinion, Daedalic Games created the best quests of all time. They never give you a trivial happy ending, which I find interesting because it leaves you with an indelible impression that isn't lost among all the same boring fairy tale endings.
Nice fantasy. Point and click adventure. No fighting. Hot spot indicator. Played over 10 hours. Lots of walkthrough help needed, but it was fun.
Zuviel random Klicken erforderlich.
