One Piece Pirate Warriors 3

This is a solid musou game. I have not watched a single episode of One Piece but I am still having plenty of fun so far. The port, however sucks to put it lightly. This is a port from a CONSOLE with no proper controller support. It is broken and finnicky and I was forced to make a layout with Steam Input that mixes keyboard and gamepad controlls to be able to play normally. What was KOEI TECMO smoking at that time? BTW it says on the game's Steam page that there is FULL controller support and this is just a straight up lie. Once you put up with all the bullcrap though, It's worth it and especially given the current -90% discount.

PROS - Fun and satisfying musou gameplay. - Good variety of playable characters. - Great fan service for One Piece fans. - Flashy combat that captures the anime well. CONS - Some stages consistently crash, making progression impossible. - Long-standing bugs remain unfixed. - Repetitive mission structure over long play sessions. VERDICT ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3 is a genuinely enjoyable action game with satisfying combat and a solid roster of characters. However, it's difficult to fully recommend when technical issues can completely block your progress. If you're lucky enough not to encounter these bugs, you'll probably have a great time. But for me, the crashes significantly hurt an otherwise fun experience. 3/5

No matter what I do, I'm unable to play at certain points. I try to do the final level, but it will either crash or send me back to the main menu.

good game i platinum this game on my ps4, but this port is trash, its basically ps vita version, a portable console that doesn't have L2 R2 thats why the button mapping horrible and suck

Love OPPW Series and love this game as well however this is genuinely one of the WORST PORTS I have seen in my entire existence of existing and the bugs are unreal. The main reason I'm even writing this review is because I was in the Water 7 Saga Chapter 2 just beat Lucci it went to a cutscene except no it was stuck on a black screen and the only thing I could do was close my game couldn't even skip the scene. MEANING I NOW HAVE TO COMPLETELY REPLAY THAT ENTIRE MISSION and while it wasn't particularly hard its really annoying I have to restart right at the end of a longer mission not to mention the fact HOW MANY TIMES IS THIS GOING TO HAPPEN HUH?? ONCE TWICE THRICE? I mean seriously Bandai its not like you aren't stacked fix these ridiculous bugs at least pretend you care about the community. Still generally recommend though I will say its also overwhelmingly built for controller and the main reason i'm playing this is because I already 100% OPPW4 over a year ago and I had this on the backlog so I said "hey why not" and the handful of playable characters in this that aren't in 4 also makes it appeasing + arcs. Review will be NO until they fix this bug. (There are guides and fixes but I don't care this shouldn't even be an issue in the first place.)

Olha, eu não sou de dar análises de jogos, apenas jogo, mas sendo muito sincero... Nunca vi um jogo que me tirou tanto do sério. Pela gameplay? Não, de longe isso nem me estressou, a gameplay é legal e cada personagem consegue ser único a sua maneira e na forma do jogo. Então o quê me tirou tanto do sério, você me pergunta? Simples. O port desse jogo pra PC é PODRE. É NOJENTO de RUIM. Me deixa puto que eles não testaram nem consertaram e nem atualizaram NADA apesar das diversas reclamações. Cara, primeiro, você tem controle? PS4? PS5? Xbox One? Bom, não interessa e nem mesmo com a Entrada Steam, se você não tiver um controle de 360, o jogo não reconhece, APENAS 360 ou seu teclado. Então ou você baixa de gente que gastou neurônios e cabeça e tempo pra "traduzir" o teclado pro controle nas configurações de controle na Steam (agradeço as pessoas que fizeram isso, se não nem sequer tinha tentado jogar mais e pediria reembolso)... Ou jogue no teclado. Mas ok, é só controle, pode ter gente que prefere teclado, justíssimo... Mas algo que ele peca muito e que REALMENTE tira do sério? Crashes e freezes. INÚMEROS, ALEATÓRIOS e EXTREMAMENTE IRRITANTES! Tem mais irritante que bugs que estragam seu jogo? Bom, advinha, poder crashar e congelar a qualquer momento é MUITO pior! Pode acontecer no meio da fase ou nos títulos, e se você não salvou e já tá longe em uma fase, você mamou, então imagina isso acontecer em uma fase longa... É de tirar do sério. Literal depois de qualquer upgrade e missão feita, se não salva automático, EU vou lá e salvo! Cara, independente de quem fez o jogo, ou melhor, de quem """""FEZ""""" esse port, Jesus mano, NINGUÉM testou essa bomba antes?! Tá aí minha indgnação, recomendo? Sim e não. Por um lado, o port é podre de ruim e pode ser meio repetitivo, e porque eu comprei? Pq eu gosto desse jogo e fez parte da minha infância como um dos primeiros jogos de quando tinham comprado pra mim pro PS4, e as vezes ele é bem divertido, os gráficos são ok, nada revolucionário, mas fizeram, FIZERAM e ANIMARAM como cutscene a derrota de um chefe principal, e desde lá eu já achava legal porque mostrava um certo carinho, fora o preço que tava 10 conto pelo jogo full. No mais: Se não for nostalgia ou você não gosta de jogo Musou, no máximo de One Piece, não quer passar raiva com crashes ou congelamentos, parceiro e parceira, vão por mim, não compra, mesmo estando MUITO barato pela edição completa, não vale tanto sua raiva nem seu tempo.

This PC / Steam port is utter garbage - lazy, bug-riddled, abysmal trash effort. Gameplay when/if it works consistently is actually pretty good. Do yourself a favour - don't waste any money on this unpolished turd, and emulate it using a ps3 file instead.
