The story is relatively in-depth, but the image and sound content is quite lacking. For $14 right now, you could definitely skip this one. The NTR is a hit or miss with people, but the overall game is just lackluster really. I appreciate the writers of the game, and hope they can just improve from this. Wouldn't recommend this particular game though personally.

If you're a fan of NTR then it delivers! The art is stunning and the scenario is extremely hot! Magetano is the most attractive female protagonist that I have seen in a while. The only con I have seen so far is that when you "♥" in the dungeon to relieve your "stress" there is a chance that you'll get a syntax error. I just started saving before each time, so I can just load my file and continue the story. It is annoying though and I hope they patch it. I haven't seen this problem in any other place or act.

I like games where you have a choice to Avoid all the NTR stuff. I should've read the reviews however because it was ALLLLL NTR. Not only that the beginning was a Snore Fest. We are talking about upwards of 2 hours of Text in the beginning Alone. The guy she likes is a little Baby and is such a LOSEEERRRR which is so Lammmeeeee. All that story Progression in the beginning set up and work just to Cu*k her Boyfriend/Crush. Also you CAN NOT avoid the NTR or S*xual things that happen to the MC. It is forced on you in the story. For the first or 2nd time ever that I remember, im going to say that this game was kinda trash. I would not recommend it. The NTR made me feel gross and the whole beginning just sets up the fact that her Crush is a complete LOSER. . Do not download this game and if youre here for the NTR stuff just skip the beginning and run through the game. Actually paying attention makes you only feel bad for the guy getting Cu*ked. Such a sickening way of setting up a story.

One of the better ntr hrpg games for the people who are into this type of content. One thing that's absolutely necessary for a good ntr game is the writing & the build up of relationship first. Curse of Kubel excels in both of these segments. It's a really really slow burn; you won't even come across any h scenes in the prologue which may take 1-1.5 hours. It's all about establishing the plot & the characters at the beginning. Also, a reminder that all the h scenes in the game only revolves around a single dude - the ntr guy. Honestly, this approach really adds to the depth of the story & the relationship rather than taking anything away. It's a plus for me as the story felt complete rather than cut short which I often feel like in other hrpg games where multiple partners are involved. Artstyle is of top tier quality. It's incredibly well done which also brings me to one of my points of anguish - there's not many variation & it's being reused in most of the scenes. Lack of variation really starts to become apparent in middle-later stages where only the excellent writing & the sound effects are able to pull people through those scenes. It's not a deal breaker but it's a shame really to not have much of those arts. Also, the game's not fully voiced; just partial sound effects & such. Curse of Kubel also doesn't have an usual hrpg gameplay. It can be described as more of a management style of gameplay rather than having any turn based combat. Well, There's no manual combat in the game; it's all automatic but for that you need to manage your "mana" which can be done through various means. If the mana depletes completely, you're unable to continue fighting. And I actually enjoyed this style if I'm to be honest because it doesn't feel monotonous which a lot of hrpg can make you feel so. Overall, I recommended the game to all the ntr lovers. It's a 8/10 for me.

I'll preface that this game is 100% NTR, so if you don't like NTR you should just stay away. As we should all expect from a game from Kagura Games, we need a patch from Kagura's website. I can't really say that this game has any combat. If one would consider whatever this game as combat, then that combat is just walking around trying not to get too horny and use as little mana as possible. That's the gameplay. The H-scenes are pretty good though, which makes this "combat" kind of worth it I guess. The scenes are just with the guy she's cheating with (both willingly and against her will) and her doing things solo inside the dungeon. The price of the game is slightly higher than what I'd say its worth. If they'd reduce this game by 30% I'd say this game is a 7/10, but because of the price I'd have to lower it to 6/10. If NTR scratches your itch, you should get this game.

(sighs) Where to begin... I've "completed" the game and unlocked one ending so far. In that time, I tried to do things the "right" way, but I didn't try too hard, you know? With these corruption games, I like to play through with the character's motivation in mind and let the naughty bits happen naturally. In that playthrough, broadly, only three sex acts occurred (over and over): she masturbated, she banged one dude, and she masturbated while sniffing that dude's underwear. All of the masturbation acts used one image (with and without underwear in her hand). The sex with that one dude used maybe three images total so far. Now, when you get into a sex act that isn't a "scene," it plays approximately three minutes of text status updates over a darkened and zoomed in version of the image that's usually used for that sex act. You can't skip this or fast forward through it or click through it, as far as I can tell. Once I recognized that I was starting to browse the web instead of pay attention to the game so that I could just let it do its incredibly tedious text-based self-masturbation session, I decided it was time to turn the game off. (A "scene," by the way, is just the image not zoomed in or darkened out with text you can click through. One image per scene.) I kid you not, there wasn't even a blowjob scene until I entered New Game+ mode. She was close to level 50 corruption/Lasciviousness at that point. I don't know what's left to unlock in the game. I imagine at some point she can probably engage with other men in the game... but maybe not? I'm not enjoying the grind enough to find out, and I'm really not into reading so many scenes that are all about her breathing in this dude's disgusting underwear. I swear there's been at least 10 fully written scenes about it.

The story is great if you like NTR but holy ♥♥♥♥ the grind in between takes a billion years. I suggest making multiple saves and notes if you want to see the different endings without the dungeon crawling. The gameplay isn't BAD, it's just tedious.

As someone that believes there's nothing wrong with indulging in a smutty good-time, I can't recommend this title. Oddly enough, I think the story element is interesting enough on it's own. You learn a fair deal about the protagonist, she's genuinely likable, and her design is gorgeous. Unfortunately, it's once the sex portion of the game kicks in that the game immediately goes downhill. Some of my favorite Kagura games leave you with a degree of choice in how to start the sexy times. If there's something you'd rather just not do, that is a completely valid option. However, due the heroine's backstory and circumstances surrounding her would-be love interest, the sex is more depressing than it is fun. As she's essentially raped and then forced into being a sex slave after the player just learned about the death of her mother and as her crush falls comatose and she sets out to save him, it frames what should be a sexy good time, as tragic and depressing. I, personally, could not enjoy the smut considering everything surrounding it and the character that sets these events in motion is just an incredibly unpleasant douche-canoe that walks around with the mind set of a real life rapist. He honestly would have been more bearable as cartoonishly over the top, rather than uncomfortably real.
