The Coin Game

I loved this game during its time in Early Access, LOVED it, so it truly pains me to say this but as of right now I cannot recommend this game. The 1.0 update seems to have fundamentally broken key parts of the game: performance is worse, physics is worse, progression is worse, and bugs are worse. Just about every part of the game that got changed for 1.0 is worse than it was in E.A.. It's really disappointing to see such a well regarded and well liked Early Access title get pushed to release before its actually done. I put almost 50 hours into the Early Access of this game. I loved this game when it was being sold as a work in progress, but if this is what they consider a "finished" game then I cannot and will not recommend this to anyone. Do not buy this right now. If the idea of an Arcade Simulator is interesting to you, wishlist this and see if they actually fix the post-launch issues. Give it a few months, that's what I plan to do, but whatever you do... DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. UNFINISHED. GAME.

Returned it after about 40 minutes. I didn't play the early access so I can't compare, but this was TERRIBLE. In no way is this a full release. Movement was horrible. Audio cut in and out, mostly silent. The games aren't smooth which takes away from the fun. Everything is janky, the driving is unbelievably bad. I was over it within 15 minutes. The early access page stated 1.0 would have multiplayer; it doesn't. Did they give up on it?

The console and 1.0 release is so bad I can no longer recommend this game. Even on PS5 pro it runs like you’re swimming thru a river of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I've always wanted this game ever since i saw that video made by brutalmoose back in 2021, I really like this game cause of the open world aspect and the sheer amount of things you can do other than playing in the arcade.

Not ready for 1.0, game feels worse now than it did a long time ago. I assume Kwalee pushed them to launch without doing any QA. Also, a new EULA has popped up that wasn't here before, which I really don't appreciate. I've refunded games because of EULAs before, and I feel kind of swindled now that I'm now being forced to sign a contract long after I purchased the game since I can't refund it now. This isn't just me standing on principle, there's a section that says they can change, suspend, remove, or disable access to the game or my content for ANY reason. Like, seriously? Read EULAs before you purchase games. It's a contract, you should know what you're signing up for before you just click Agree. You'll be surprised how many rights you're giving up just to play a game. Screw that.
