Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Coin Game is a fun-filled arcade adventure on an island packed with ticket games, quirky robots, and endless activities. Explore realistic arcades with machines inspired by modern favorites and swap your tickets for prizes at redemption areas. Head to Larry's Arcade to jam with animatronics Teddy and the Ticket Eaters, or try UFO Arcade's space-themed games, Laser Tag, and Indoor Go-Karting. Don’t miss the ‘90s-style indoor mall with its own arcade, food court, shops, and even a cinema to watch your own movies. Just watch out for the minions – they’re big fans of Teddy and can challenge you in Laser Tag! Looking for more adventure? Make a splash at Lenny's WaterPark or show your skills at mini-golf and RC boat racing at pirate-themed One Eyed Billie’s. And don’t forget the Traveling Carnival with 20+ classic games, rides, and new prizes.
For a challenge, Survivor Mode lets you start with limited funds. Keep an eye on your health and energy (right on your wristwatch) by grabbing food around the island. Jerry’s got the healthy stuff if you can afford it, but junk food’s always cheap!
Run out of money? Scavenge dumpsters, hop on your bike and deliver newspapers around the island, or hit up the Pawn Shop to sell extra prizes. Otherwise you might have to beg Uncle Phil for some extra allowance!
If you just want to relax, activate Birthday Mode and live the good life with unlimited cash courtesy of Uncle Phil. Play however you like and enjoy your time at the arcades! Fill your belly with soda pop and cheesy poofs leaving sticky fingerprints on over 50 different games and machines.
There are plenty of ways to travel around the island. Take the bus, your very own golf cart, bike or Mom's van. Or maybe walk to burn all that fast food you just had at the mall. Be careful though, there is lots of highway traffic and tourist activity on the island so make sure to keep off the roads.
You can play The Coin Game with any mouse, keyboard or any Dual stick/pad controller. The game includes an easy to use key mapping system to support virtually any controller or peripheral. So you can play The Coin Game any way that you like.

Reviews
Bought this in EA back in 2019, just returned to it just to see its a broken mess in 1.0. You cant even redeem tickets without softlocking along with many other things being broken.
Recent changes to Survival mode have totally ruined this game. Needing to spend $150+ of in game money from odd jobs to play a single arcade game? Not what I signed up for at all actually?

I don’t know why, but this game really reflects how I am in real life. I spend most of my time just walking around, checking out the arcade machines, watching people play, and observing everything around me.
Honestly I knew there would be problems as soon as I saw there was a UK publisher involved, their EULA is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absurd. ♥♥♥♥ you Kwalee.
What happened to this game? I didn't know anything about this update going in and i was super exited, but the second i got into a survival mode game i couldn't even control it. The controls and physics are so bad its unplayable. Why the hell did they break something that didn't even need fixing? I hope the original dev abandons this publisher and goes back to the slow and steady updates we had before.
Probably the best arcade simulator out there. This game has probably saved me hundreds of dollars that I would have otherwise dumped into a real coin pusher. You can tell the dev is super passionate and updates come out on a pretty regular basis.
one of the worst 1.0 releases from e.a. ever. there have always been issues, bugs and such, but now its better to play on a legacy version rather than the 1.0 and also... why the hell is the female player model so curvy. isnt that a teenager?? its disgusting tbh
The Coin Game was a really good game during early access, ride around, play games and keep yourself alive. But now it has reached 1.0 and honestly there's nothing 1.0 about it. The survival has been changed and is worse, you now need to buy the arcades so you can be a part owner, this would be okay for better arcades but not for the most basic one. It was very confusing to come back to, finding every single arcade boarded up and closed, the game is definitely better optimised but that's probably the only good thing. I do not know why the developer felt the need to partner with a publisher, they were doing great by themselves even if updates were rare. The game is now incredibly buggy, it's a grind to even get to the main point of the game, which is the arcades. They should separate it into another game mode and bring the old survival back. Yet another early access game that has become worse at 1.0.
Game never worked very well and now in 1.0 it doesn't work at all. I've waited literally years for development to iron out the most serious issues so I could play this but instead the developer just lit the game on fire and ****ed off to Vegas. Now it looks like I'm going to be waiting until the end of time. If you buy this you are a fool.
Abandonware is too nice of a word to use here, this game is broken, buggy, and unfinished. despite the promise of more updates (two months ago) there have been none. Do Not Buy This Game.
