This game used to be so absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peak, but the new update has ruined it. > Played this for like 60 hours > New Update, hyped > Start 'Survival Mode' > I can't gamble anymore, have to do 500 things before i can gamble What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron came to that decision to make gambling harder in THE GAMBLING SIMULATOR.

I love aracades in real life, i can sit in front of a coin pusher and play for hours without getting bored. Unfortunately i didnt find any arcade game here that kept me hooked. I tried all of them and have no desire to keep playing any of them. It was kinda fun to try them out and to explore the world but it just doesnt cratch my arcade itch.

If you are bored out of your mind. Nothing in your steam library seems fun. This is the game for you. One day, I turned on my computer looked at my desktop and thought, I've played these games a billion times. Oh wait I forgot. The coin game! Anyways, this game is actually a really cool concept. Its basically a kid simulator which is just cool in the first place. So I totally recommend this.

Movement sucks and UI looks like ♥♥♥♥

This game is an amazing labor of love. It's janky for sure, when it comes to the UI and first-person movement, but the arcade machines themselves are pretty top-notch. If you can look past some of the rough game design and rather appreciate the charm, the humorous robots and the realistically simulated arcade machines, you might enjoy it. The developer is clearly passionate about their game with all the content they've made for it over the past decade (it technically started development in 2016).

It's a fantastic game, aside from survival mode. There's too many things that need to be worked out. No arcades until some arbitrary point, very unclear unlocks, and little to no tutorial. No tutorial in itself isn't a bad thing, until you realize how buggy everything still is when it comes to controls. Sometimes you have to pause the game (which doesn't pause hunger or the world) just to make the controls work again. If I'm playing a game, for example bingo, and I notice my hunger and health dropping, I should be allowed to exit the game at the loss of my money/credits. This caused two deaths so far as it seems hunger randomly drains fast for seemingly no reason. It seems saving also doesn't work, I had multiple save points in that game and I have no continue option whatsoever from anything. So expect that play session to be as far as you can get in the game. Birthday mode is the ONLY way you should be playing this game until the buggy mess of survival mode is fixed. Edit: After no-lifing survival mode in one sitting, encountering several game breaking bugs requiring full restarts of the game to fix, and completing the "ending" of the game. It's gotten a bit more positive, but nothing can take away from still how buggy of a mess it is. You can still get entirely stuck since the jumping physics sometimes mean you can mountain goat out of anything, and sometimes you can't even jump even though you absolutely should be able to. Enter a dumpster? 50/50 shot you can't get out. Accidentally B-hop? You're flying across the map and taking enough damage to kill you. I encountered a bug at putt putt playing 18 holes where you immediately fall through the map, and there's no coming back from it since saving is broken, requiring a game restart. At one point, the ticket counter at the UFO arcade just spat out 2,147,483,647 tickets, making money trivial and allowing me a free ride to the end of the game. This also took away any and all fun of the game, as progression was completely nulled by having max tickets. But since it did give me infinite tickets, let me tell you about the horrendous physics of the "used sports car". Oh baby, that Lamborghini doesn't have traction. At all. It's not even worth the $23,000. You press the gas, you spin out. You wanna drive in a straight line? No, you're gonna slide random directions. For being THE endgame unlock, it serves no purpose besides simply costing a lot. Now the positive things :D The main reason you're here, to play arcade games, is actually good. The games all feel like a true 1:1 recreation when physics cooperates. The coin pushers being the only exception, as you can overload them very easily and bug out games like Dunko into never ending until you starve or curfew hits. The mega drop is the only arcade game I'm going to heavily criticize though, seeing as they're my favorite arcade game IRL. Mega drop extreme is pretty good, minis physics getting the balls stuck in the corners a lot. It has failsafes that eventually push the ball back out, but it's still annoying waiting an additional 30 seconds for nothing. You can time it correctly and dunk the ball drop right through the jackpot every time fairly easily, just like IRL. Overall 9/10. Mega drop (normal) however, the physics are slightly off from reality for ball velocity. You cannot dunk in this machine, meaning it's now pure chance if you can actually aim the ball at anything. It seems the ring around the jackpot slot doesn't have physics or isn't tall enough for its hitbox, as the ball can just roll into the jackpot slot, completely unintentional I'm sure since physics broke upon 1.0 release, but annoying that you can just get jackpots consistently by complete accident as opposed to skillful play. 4/10. The carnival rides are all fun and seem to work perfectly fine, I haven't fallen through the map or anything riding them. The go-kart racing at the UFO Arcade is fun, if a bit buggy with collision, sometimes throwing you over walls and landing you upside down, though you can simply exit the cart and restart the race. The mall is honestly the most boring unlock, it's mostly machines you've already played elsewhere, no unique prizes, and it's out of the way to get to. It's pretty much there so you can earn interest and get the true ending of the game. Overall, I'd give the survival experience a 3/10, and the birthday mode still gets a 10/10. Survival mode is just too frustrating with all the bugs present and lack of functioning saves. I want to note that I don't blame the developer for this whatsoever, they were rushed by their publisher and they're taking it very well and just fixing things more and more in every update. I hope it'll end up being one of the most fun experiences for arcade games, and I do recommend giving the game a shot, just don't expect to play the main game mode without a **lot** of bugs at this time.
