Don't know what this game is about but it generates a GFWL key therefore letting me log into GTA IV and play GFWL online. Probably cheapest way to get a key. This game goes really cheap on key websites.
I was always fascinated by this game growing up. Never got the chance to play it until today. Personally I don't recommend it at all. Can't play online due to GFLW's shutting down. So really the only chance to really play it is having an LAN party with mates. Even then the game isn't that great gameplay wise.
As a source of GfWL keys in 2026 works perfectly :D
Ok so I was able to get this to work on an i9 Intel 13900K and 4090. You have to do the following as the reason this and some other older games wont open is due to Windows Live. Go to the game directory (steamapps\common\The Club) -> go to redistributables ->go to Games for Windows - Live -> double click the exe file and then try launching the game. This also support 4k resolution, v sync, and high anti aliasing so it's somewhat lit when it's on sale.
Fast crackhead shooter that still plays great. Shoot fast and survive; what could be better?
Сетевой экшен, в котором требуется постоянно бегать и стрелять в противников. Сегодня уже наверное никто не помнит, но в свое время ее ждали. Портит впечатление GFWL, без которого хрен запустишься )
TL;DR: A Good and fun arcade shooter game, but a bad port because GFWL. Summary: Previously played on Xbox 360, THE CLUB is an arcade shooter, emphasis on what the dev called "a racing game with guns". You have at least a total 8 roster in this game, with two being unlocked as your progress the game. Each "Club" characters have their highs and low on their stats, which may feel unique to each play style. PROS: It's an arcade shooting, which the goal is to kill as many enemies and achieved a high amount of combo. The more the combo you earn, the more the points you'll achieved. It's simple. The idea was basically, here's a gun, have fun! If you missed out on an enemies or Skull Shot Signs, your combo will bleed, which will drain f@#ked your momentum. CONS: On the game sides, the Combo Bleed can dried up so fast, that you will lose momentum. And the Skull Shots can be very distracting once you faced too many enemies. It's not so bad, but it can get overwhelmed when you trying to achieved your best Score. On the technical sides, the game suffers from GFWL, which broke the Steam Overlay, making you unable to take Screenshot or look up Guides during in-game. Someone even told me to use a cr4ck3d.exe to bypass the GFWL to Steam Overlay, which I have tried! And It didn't work, sadly. It also has problems with Windows 11, that I tested it on my friends PC. Even using the Steam Community Guides and the Title Update 3 fix from PCGamingWiki doesn't seem to work. Some said it works for them, but I don't know, I guess my friend PCs are just different. In addition to that, this game is a barebones PC port, straight up from the Xbox 360, which heavily prioritize it's Controller UI. You can play this with K+M and remap your keys, but only Xbox UI is primarily implemented in this game. Tough sh!t for K+M users I supposed, if they don't remember their Keybind. The game is no longer maintained because the developer Bizarre Creations was acquired by Activision and later closed down by Bobby Kotick, because BLUR and 007 BloodStone underperformed. Which led the IP to be remain with SEGA and no longer maintained. In-order for SEGA to update/remaster/remake this game, they need to have their in-game developer to do it, or outsourced it to external developers like General Arcade, Virtuos, QLOC or any Studios that are capable of porting the game to perfection. VERDICT: If there is a mixed reviews options, it would've been that for THE CLUB. Sure, it's a fun game, but because of GFWL issues, it's just a f@#k!n' mess for those who just wants to play the game Plug-and-play. If you want to try this game, I highly recommend it, but only when it's on sale. 6.8/10
It is a fun third person score oriented shooter. Fast paced, fairly simple (could add more ideas in the short run that it offers) but still worth one's time. Its immediately enjoyable, doesn't bog you down with story, no progression unlocks nor tie you down to a low difficulty level. Ideally the highest difficulty would be unlocked from the beginning.
