[/h1] [h3]*note* I was able to get it working flawlessly on Steam Deck (Feb 2026)[/h3] The Club feels like a game that released at the wrong time for me. Back then, I was more into story-driven games built around progression, so it never really clicked. I put a few hours into it when it first came out but didn’t fully understand or appreciate what it was trying to do. Revisiting it now, though, it’s [b]incredibly fun[/b] and somewhat underrated. There’s no real 'story' here. Think of it purely as a third-person arcade shooter focused on speed, flow, and chasing high scores. It cuts straight to the chase of what makes video games fun. It’s all about quick, pick-up-and-play sessions driven by mechanics, momentum, and mastery. Replayability comes from refining your runs and pushing for higher scores on each level. It’s also much more enjoyable on PC, where mouse aiming makes the gameplay feel more precise compared to the Xbox360 version. At $3.99 on sale, it’s absolutely worth a try if you’re looking for something more 'arcadey' that you can jump into over a weekend.

En el año 2010 escribí lo siguiente en aquel blog de videojuegos que usted ya sabe: "The Club es, posiblemente, el juego más infravalorado de esta generación. Su sistema de juego, extremadamente arcade y old-school, lo apartó de la estantería del jugador medio, que, acostumbrado a los Halo y Gears of War, encontró en el juego de Bizarre Creations una experiencia más frustrante que divertida. El sistema de coberturas ha hecho mucho daño a la esencia de los shooters, que han pasado de ser ejercicios de frenetismo cardíaco a paseos por el parque escondiéndose detrás de bancos y árboles. The Club le pegó dos patadas a esa tendencia y volvió a las raíces: al disparo frenético e ininterrumpido, a la magia del combo, a las puntuaciones máximas y los bonus… a todo lo que no debía haberse perdido". Quince años después sigo suscribiendo esas palabras. Por desgracia, para poder jugar a The Club con esta versión que SEGA vende en Steam a diez unidades de euro, en primer lugar he tenido que descargarme un archivo DLL y, a continuación, he tenido que cambiar unos parámetros en las variables del entorno del sistema. Eso solo para que arranque. Luego, si además quieres poder guardar tu progreso (de lo contrario tienes que repetir el tutorial cada vez que arrancas el juego), tienes que seguir trasteando con mods y guías. Y mira, no. No me parece de recibo. No es manera de tratar uno de los últimos juegos de Bizarre.

I don't know why on earth there's people who hold a torch for this thing. Within minutes of playing, the nauseating camera movement and poor aiming on KB&M was simply terrible. There are great arcade action games with scoreboards to compete on - this isn't one of them.

third person shooter with arcade-style scoring system and progression, kinda simple. Fun game but highly recommended you just remove GFWL from this entirely

ℹ️ No hace falta que instales las 2 cosas que el juego te pide instalar al abrirlo. ℹ️ Si el juego no se abre, ve aquí: https://steamcommunity.com/app/10460/discussions/0/4694531693358407588/ Te descargas lo del enlace que nos ha compartido el amigo, lo descomprimes, y los metes esos 2 archivitos (xlive.dll y xlive.ini) en la carpeta del juego; En mi caso, la carpeta es "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Club", ahi metes el xlive.dll y el xlive.ini, y ya funcionará el juego. Lo jugue por primera vez en 2013 en un local que tenia estos video juegos y desde ahi me gusto 11 años despues vuelvo a jugarlo y es como si volviera en el tiempo muy buen juego la verdad lo recomiendo mucho para cuando tengas un tiempo de ocio y quieras pasar el rato agusto.
