An interesting point and click adventure. I love the pixel art and I also really love the protagonist. She's the mood I always feel when I watch spooky bs happens and says what we're all thinking. I wasn't too certain about the game about 2/3rds of the way through but the conclusion really pulls the whole story together. Ended up liking it a fair bit.

Starts out very promisingly, you expect a Wadjet Eye game to follow, but what actually does is a messy, dreary story that has you walking up and down a train with annoying dream sequences. Couldn't even finish it because of what seems to be a bug in the third 'chapter'.

La disfrutarás si tienes ganas de pasarte un juego no muy largo en el que la trama es muy lineal y sus puzzles no son complejos. Me ha gustado: - La simplicidad del juego en todos los sentidos, manejo, uso de los objetos etc... - Sus gráficos son pixel art bien detallados, suficiente para un juego de este estilo. No me gustado: - Su historia. Aunque es intrigante el final es ambiguo y dependerá de como lo interpretes. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Interesting game! really enjoyed playing the trilogy, I'm sure it's more chapters than a trilogy as in 3 separate games. The first is very short, the second longer and the third part is drastically longer than the others. Ultra creepy themes, definitely worth a play if you like horror point and click games.

A somewhat reluctant recommandation for a well written short psychological horror point and click. --- TCHT is made of three parts, where you play alternatively Alex and Doctor Lang moving through a more and more confusing and horrifying mix of reality and dillusions. The hook of the game is its spooky ghost narration, told through the intertwined stories of the two protagonists. We get a glimpse of the worst nightmares they had or have to face, and the writing is really good at ramping up the stakes and the horrific implications of each new NPC dialogue. That being said, the game, each part in their own way, kind of feels...in media res, while also never seeming to care to address that fact. The characters name drop places and people that seem to make a lot of sense to them, like the author of an in diegesis book series, the island that they're supposed to reach in the Gloria train. When the name droping is in service of forshadowing, or reveals a character later, no offense; but half the time, it feels more like you're playing the middle part of a franchise, and you have no context to understand what is what. --- Other than that, not a whole lot to say: visually, the game is competantly made, very old fashioned, grounded AGS style visuals, with nice voice acting - very distracting James Stephanie Sterling though (love her but I've heard her voice so much that it felt out of context) -, and okay sound effects and music. And the puzzles are far and few, very easy, sometimes hiding a choice, as the game is more about walking to the next narrative part than anything else. --- TL;DR It's a fine short horror point and click game, who's main crime is that it feels like it's the middle episode of a larger series...that it teases in the last seconds, only to...well not have a sequel, so I guess that's that.

Such a great point & click game. I finally got around playing this game since I bought it a decade ago (2016 I just checked my purchase history!). I'll start by saying this game has a strong narrative and not so convoluted puzzles. Not once did I feel like having to randomly combine items to progress or trying to solve some mind-boggling puzzles that required me to look up a guide. The story was creepy and full of lore and great characters. The voice acting was superb (Jim Sterling voiced this!), plus the game allows you to manually save in case you're one of those achievement hunters. There's supposedly a sequel to this game with how they ended it but it's currently stuck in a development hell for years, plus the developer himself is sick in real life. So let's pray and hope for the best...
