The Charnel House Trilogy

I first played this game back in 2016. I finished all the achievements in 2025, and I wrighting this review in 2026. This is a short little game, but the story is twisted and brutal. Pretty graphics great music and a really memorable and likable main protagonist. After all these years, and I still find myself thinking about this game. Good game.

Very polished, short trilogy. Fingers crossed for an eventual sequel.

This is a really really good game I highly recommend it. This and Re-Turn which it sort of reminds me of, maybe just because they both take place on trains. Ive loved trains ever since my first time reading Murder on the Orient Express.

Curto e intrigante, fiquei querendo mais. Mais narrativo do que point and click. A atuação de voz em inglês é bem boa.

Extremely unlikable protagonist, uninteresting and unlikable other characters, story is all over the place and the game tries to be a lot more clever than it actually is, much like the protaganist. The constant profanity is also painfully awkward and I'm no puritan by any measure. Didn't care one bit for this.

Extraño y fascinante. La historia comienza suavemente, una tarde aburrida de invierno, y va subiendo de tono lentamente. Los puzles son sencillos, pero te invitan a explorar y mantienen la intriga. Lo mejor es el ambiente creado por los entornos, y la propia historia. Aun siendo tan breve, está bien armada y cuida los pequeños detalles: los libros, los diálogos. Ahí hay una historia madura. Esta trilogía. como indica su título, contiene tres capítulos breves: deberían diseñar más. Me he quedado con ganas de saber cómo continúa ¿Qué está pasando en la isla? ¿Qué ha encontrado Kat?
