It's hard but fun! Discovering new combos is a nice touch. Hoping for a wee bit more balance in the following patches.
This game is GREAT! An actual weird wonder, honestly. I saw it in Splattercat's YT, and it blew mi mind. Cool ideas! Try the demo, and see if it is your thing. Note that YOU CAN'T WIN the demo! There are many missing structures needed for that, so you are supposed to just see how the game is, and lose :)
This game is some how a card game but as you play each card time passes. although when i got to day 8 this kept on popping up. It then forced me to stop playing and then when i reloaded the game it was fine for the next 5 seconds, it kept coming up to the point that i had to delete my save. Otherwise its a great game. Also one thing i would like to see in this game is a spell called cleanse which would take away all of the dead bad guys in your card deck. ___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ ERROR in action number 1 of Draw Event for object obj_master: Variable Index [6] out of range [6] at gml_Object_obj_master_Draw_0 ############################################################################################ gml_Object_obj_master_Draw_0 (line -1)
Reminds me of one of the better Sokpop games, except the dev actually seems to care about balance and longevity (do we still say "oh, snap?"). I suppose the runs take a bit longer than I would like and there are perhaps half as many cards as I would care to see (if I have seen them all, and I think I have, but not sure). Those are the only two flaws worth mentioning. The best things about the game is the opacity. Everything works in a particular way and makes abundant sense, but you have to pay attention and figure out what's going on by hashing your way through -- classic PC gaming. It took two runs to have a solid grasp of how everything worked, and by run two I was already trying a particular strategy and had three more I wanted to try in the future. I still have a couple of experiments I want to try to see if I actually have my notions straight about some of the cards. If this looks at all like your kind of game, you should give it a go. The demo promises a particular experience, and the full game delivers. Easy recommendation. And, dude, this game is $3!! What do you want?
Had no idea what was going on.
Przyjemna rozgrywka, która szybko można opanować samemu.
Abandonware.
The Call of Krul'ar feels like a game that doesn't want you to play it--or at least, not understand it. deaths are more obnoxious than anything as it takes eons for the game to finally let you restart or quit. this is a game where you basically have to look up a wiki or walkthrough because it absolutely refuses to teach you anything itself. while I imagine that arcane presentation would be satisfying to overcome, to "get" the game--it just left me cold.
Fun little strategy game if you're looking to burn a few hours but not wanting something overly complex. Great value for money at the pricepoint.
Very interesting game ;)
