About
The Bridge is a logic puzzle game that forces you to reevaluate your preconceptions of physics and perspective. It is Isaac Newton meets M. C. Escher. Manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures. Explore increasingly difficult worlds, each uniquely detailed and designed to leave you with a pronounced sense of intellectual accomplishment. The Bridge exemplifies games as an art form, with beautifully hand-drawn art in the style of a black-and-white lithograph.

48 thought-provoking puzzles, each unique from the rest, all requiring an innovative solution.
Gravity manipulations, gravitational vortexes, parallel dimensions, and many more mind-bending concepts in a world where the laws of physics are not what they seem.
M. C. Escher-esque worlds with impossible architecture set in the style of beautifully hand-drawn black-and-white lithographic art.
An alternate version of the game unlocked after the main storyline has been completed, including challenging alternate versions of each of the 24 main puzzles, along with an alternate ending.

The concept is fascinating: you explore Escher-style drawings in all their non-Euclidean glory in order to get keys, avoid danger, and reach the exit door. To match it, the art style is top-notch and the puzzles have a lot of care put into their design. On the other hand, some of the late game puzzles were downright infuriating. In earlier levels, something not working usually meant to try a different idea. For some of the late game puzzles, something not working tended to mean that the idea was correct but the execution was slightly off; the threshold for success felt way too strict at times. To be fair, this was a relatively small percentage of the levels. Overall, I do recommend it for puzzle fans for the interesting concept alone. I struggled to think strategically about these bizarre non-Euclidean environments, but there is a consistent logical framework that was fun to tease out.
DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME
It's like stepping into an Escher painting that's also a puzzle.
I can honestly deeply appreciate the hand drawn art, I found it beautiful and well done. The puzzles themselves are done well too, though some of the layouts are a tiny bit repetitive. But what can you do when you need to work with a loop for each. Usually there is a simple puzzle that "explains" a new introduced mechanic in a few basic moves before incorporating it into a harder puzzle, which is nice. Excited to finish this, as some are a little more difficult and it is a nice little brain teaser in a world currently full of brain rot streaming. If you enjoy hand drawn art, puzzles, and a small sense of surreal doom in a small package of a game, you will enjoy this.
This was a fun puzzle game. It can get kinda trippy and if you have vertigo the spinning might not be for you. I enjoyed my time playing it. I might go back and do the mirrored levels. I did leave this running so my play time is a bit inflated.
