The Bleakest Keep

I got and tried out Bleakest Keep, and honestly I didn't really like it that much. Which is really upsetting to me because i looove the art style and the combat alot, but it leaves alot to be desired in some areas. I think it's the fact that once you die, there is no real benefit, unlike most Roguelikes, where you get some type of point or experience to put towards upgrading or leveling up, then starting the game a little bit easier for yourself. The only "skill tree" like mechanic there is, requires you to either die a certain amount of times, or kill one of the bosses, which is hard by it self. I think if you are into more difficult gameplay, with little rewards on the way to the end, then this is the game for you, but for me, it didn't hold my attention for very long. Also, the lack of background music didn't help, especially after watching the trailer with the music paired with it.

A pesar de ser un juego basado en una sola run, donde al morir debes empezar desde cero, logra mantenerse entretenido y desafiante. Todavia no llego al final, pero cada intento se siente justo y dan ganas de seguir mejorando. Como punto negativo, el lobo puede resultar demasiado rapido. Cuando aparece junto a otros enemigos es facil quedar acorralado y sin espacio para moverse, lo que a veces se siente mas frustrante que desafiante. Tambien note un detalle con algunas animaciones de ataque. En enemigos como el gigante o el primer jefe, algunos segundos golpes parecen no conectar o simplemente no hacen daño, como si fallara la deteccion del impacto. Fuera de esos detalles, el juego esta muy bien logrado. Tiene un buen nivel de dificultad, un combate entretenido y consigue que cada intento se sienta diferente y valga la pena. Como detalle aparte, tambien me gusto el diseño de juliet de la taberna. Tiene un diseño de personaje muy atractivo y un tipo de cuerpo que personalmente me gusta bastante.
