Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 20 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tired of ‘epic tales’ of ‘world ending proportions’, Cursebreaker offers stories of human pettiness, revenge and greed - all the good stuff. In this game you're not yet another 'chosen one' destined to save all life from impending doom and gloom. Instead, you're Lord Rothar Aercrest - the feudal ruler to the remote woodlands of Imberthale. Or at least you used to be...

One fateful day your path crosses that of a dark wizard, Gabrius, who appears to be both tremendously powerful and frightfully malicious. Consequently you soon find yourself caught within a mortal feud between two powerful wielders of magic, all the while bound by a curse you desperately need to break free from.
If Lord Rothar is to know peace again, Gabrius must surely die. That might not prove to be such a simple task. After all, what is death besides a mere nuisance to the master of the Black Grimoire?

Character progression in Cursebreaker is tied to the various skills you can advance. All in-game interactions tend to give experience in your various skills, and gaining higher skill levels will unlock appropriate interactions, abilities and crafting options. Fighting enemies in close quarters, for example, will increase your Attack and Defence skills. As they gain levels, you unlock new passive and activated abilities, can wield more sophisticated weapons and armor, and gain access to new traits from the appropriate trainers.
The spellbook offers a large variety of both combat and non-combat utility. Finding and learning new spells may prove a challenge in itself, and casting more demanding spells will require preparation, such as gathering specific ingredients. Feel free to create your own playstyle by using any combination of ranged and melee weapons and spells!
The crafting and harvesting skills provide a variety of bonuses too. Gaining experience in woodsmanship through felling trees not only provides you with crafting materials for bows and such, but may allow you to pass through obstacles in the world and otherwise speed up your exploration. Skill in Alchemy does not only unlock potions, but also bombs and poisons!
Available skills in the game include Attack, Defence, Archery, Sorcery, Smithing, Crafting, Tailoring, Alchemy, Mining, Woodsmanship, Fishing and Cooking.
The game automatically saves your progress. In the event you fall in combat, you will be revived at your nearest graveyard, having potentially lost some of your valuables along the way. No worry, these can be recovered either by visiting the place of your death, or by paying a scavenger. Remember to carry restorative foods and protective potions to guard against dangerous enemies!

Although Cursebreaker is a singleplayer game, it provides an option for a social multiplayer; in other words, you will be able to see other adventurers online, but the interactions are limited to chatting and inspecting equipment only. It will not be possible to trade with them or otherwise engage in gameplay-related activities with them. You may adjust the online mode to apply to big cities only, to be always on, or to opt out of it entirely and play fully offline in case you don't care for it.
Two authentic players chatting.

I literally cannot kill a lvl 10 thug with level 18 sorcery. The damage makes no sense so I cannot progress in the game.

Really didn't think this would be the sort of game for me. I think I got it in a bundle, but at one point I decided to try it, and I was hooked. It's a lot deeper and more fun than I expected it to be, and it apparently scratched an itch for me that I didn't even know I had! Could definitely recommend this game if you like nostalgic RPG adventure game!

Fun game
Basically OSRS!
A surprisingly addictive game. I'm not into grind, usually, but in this game it is somehow relaxing. I haven't encountered any bugs or performance issues over 30 hours.
Listen to me very carefully. I went to Kera Tokyo expecting a nice little rooftop drink in Akasaka, and I left convinced the staff possess actual dark magic. The elevator ride up to the 6th floor feels like a ascension to another plane of existence. The moment those doors slide open, the atmosphere slaps you across the face in the best way possible. The vibes? Off the charts. Unmatched. I took one sip of their signature cocktail and my credit score instantly improved by 40 points. The bartenders don't just mix drinks; they perform liquid alchemy while giving you customer service so warm you’ll want to adopt them. The food off the grill was so outrageously delicious that I almost wept directly into my plate. I watched the Tokyo skyline from the terrace and honestly felt like the main character in an anime that’s been greenlit for ten seasons. They stay open until 5 AM, which is brilliant because leaving this place before sunrise feels like an absolute tragedy.
This game is really good and deserve much more players. Really nailing the feel of a good Runescape like game even If I wish I could fight enemies with my friends we can still see each other and its still fun to explore. Quests are entertaining. Please give it a try !
Not enough performance optimization was done on this game. Constant Stutters, Framerate moves between 50 and 60. Why does my cpu need to consume so much power and the game cant stay at 60 fps? Anti Aliasing doesnt exist here. And when driver level Anisotropic Filtering is active, the borders of everything become red with no textures. Unpolished game.
